Rush wins co-angler title
(Sep. 11, 2012 - SHELBYVILLE, IL.) Michael Black of Toledo, Ill., weighed a two-day total of seven bass totaling 17 pounds even to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Illini Division super tournament on Lake Shelbyville in Shelbyville on Sunday. For his victory, Black earned $5,821.


(Sep. 11, 2012 - KEY WEST, Florida Keys) Frank Delucas released six tarpon, five permit and a bonefish to win the grand champion angler title at the Robert James Sales S.L.A.M. Celebrity Tournament that ended Sunday, Sept. 9. Delucas, who lives in Plantation, Fla., also was recognized for catching and releasing the most permit. In addition, he was named top rod angler on the first of the S.L.A.M.?s two fishing days after scoring a ?slam? for releasing one of each target species.


Lane wins co-angler title
(Sep. 11, 2012 - ROCKWOOD, TN.) Jonathan Bowling of Harriman, Tenn., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 28 pounds, 11 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Volunteer Division super tournament on Watts Bar Lake in Rockwood on Sunday. For his victory, Bowling earned $4,540.


Curvin wins co-angler title
(Sep. 11, 2012 - FLORENCE, AL.) Randy Haynes of Counce, Tenn., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 40 pounds even to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Bama Division super tournament on Pickwick Lake in Florence on Sunday. For his victory, Haynes earned $5,446.

         The Purdue University team of Nicholas Schuetz of Loogootee, Ind., and Elliott Myers of Anderson, Ind., won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Central Conference Championship on Carlyle Lake Saturday with a five-bass limit that weighed 11 pounds, 6 ounces.   


(Sep. 08, 2012 - Gadsden, AL.) Two of Gadsden, Alabama's finest anglers Andrew Johnson and Jake Dixon bested the rest of the field in today's Lady Bass Anglers Association (LBAA) Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Alabama to claim the $1,000 cash first place prize. Johnson and Dixon caught a limit of five bass weighing 13.21 pounds from the waters of Lake Neely Henry to capture today's victory.


Reese claims co-angler title
(Sep. 08, 2012 - MARBURY, Md.) John Hutchins of Warrenton, Va., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 11 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to lead wire-to-wire and win the EverStart Series Northern Division event on the Potomac River with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 46 pounds, 12 ounces. For his victory, Hutchins earned $31,695.


(Sep. 08, 2012 - WAGONER, OK.) With all the challenges facing anglers at the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open on Fort Gibson Lake, it only seems logical that an Oklahoman would take the top prize. Jason Christie of Park Hill did just that, posting the second heaviest catch of the tournament in the final round to edge out Arkansas Elite Series pro Kevin Short by almost 2 pounds.

Texas' Scott Dean made the switch today at Fort Gibson Lake in the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open on Fort Gibson Lake. His five bass limit weighing 13 pounds, 11 ounces gives him 29-6 for two days, enough to pass Day 1 leader, Kevin Short (who slipped to third with 27-3), and take the lead.

Ashton and Beahm claim title for Borah Senior High School
(Sep. 01, 2012 - PROVO, Utah) David Ashton and Jake Beahm from Idaho's Borah Senior High School won the High School Western Conference Championship tournament held on Utah Lake Saturday. TBF along with FLW held the high school tournament in conjunction with the FLW College Fishing Western Conference Championship event.


(Sep. 01, 2012 - PROVO, Utah) The California State University-Long Beach team of Justin Gangel of Valley Center, Calif., and Alex Cox of Long Beach, Calif., won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Western Conference Championship on Utah Lake Saturday with five bass weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces.

(Aug. 31, 2012 - PROVO, Utah) The Chico State University team of Anthony Dayton of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Nic Carrico of Oroville, Calif., took the lead on day one of the National Guard FLW College Fishing Western Conference Championship on Utah Lake Thursday with four bass weighing 10 pounds, 5 ounces.

Davis wins co-angler title
(Aug. 28, 2012 - CLAYTON, N.Y.) Frank Guarascio of Whitesboro, N.Y., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 23 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Northeast Division event at 1000 Islands. For his victory, Guarascio earned $2,985.


(Aug. 28, 2012 - ) The final 2012 qualifying tournament for the PMTT, Musky Hunter Magazine's Last Summer Blast was held August 24th & 25th. The event was filled with big fish catches as there were several being over the coveted 50 inch mark.


Syverson wins co-angler title
(Aug. 27, 2012 - PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI.) Jim Caulum of Rockland, Wis., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 15 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Great Lakes Division event on the Mississippi River at Prairie Du Chien. For his victory, Caulum earned $4,119.


(Aug. 26, 2012 - SYRACUSE, N.Y.) Boyd Duckett used to count on his red shoes as his talisman. Now it seems his two-week-old son is bringing him all the luck he needs. In pro fishing, it's half-jokingly called "the baby pattern" because pros with new kids have proved to suddenly be more motivated.

(Aug. 26, 2012 - TRENTON, MI.) After three days of still waters at the Walmart FLW Tour on the Detroit River presented by the National Guard, wind greeted anglers at takeoff Sunday morning. The buzz at the ramp was how the winds would affect strategies for the top 10 anglers that had outfished the best bass anglers in the world to survive the cut to the last day.

The Bass Federation's brand new Dream Team tournament trail is excited to announce Robert Bayless and Tony Mohwish won the West Virginia Bass Federation Dream Team Rally event recently held on the Ohio River in Wheeling, W.Va. New Jersey's Pete Gluszek hasn't fished a Bassmaster Classic since 1999, but he'll be back in 2013 after winning the Bass Pro Shops Northern Open on New York's Cayuga Lake. Gluszek went wire-to-wire at the event, posted the best catches in the field on each of the first two days and finished with a three-day total of 56 pounds, 1 ounce.

Indiana angler is youngest to win championship event
(Aug. 12, 2012 - Duluth, GA.) After Jacob Wheeler of Indianapolis, Ind., won the 2011 BFL All-American, the championship event for weekend anglers, he stated his goal was to someday win the Forrest Wood Cup, the world championship of bass fishing.


Tennessee's Dearing Wins Co-Angler Title, $50,000

Fatheadz Eyewear pro Jacob Wheeler has now weighed in the biggest stringer for two of the three tournament days at the Forrest Wood Cup presented by Walmart, giving him a commanding lead heading into the fourth and final day of the world championship of bass fishing. The top cash award of $500,000 is now his to lose as the best professional bass anglers from around the world continued their competition at Lake Lanier on Saturday.
