Any team entering 6 of the Sam Rayburn Saturday Series events will automatically qualify for the 2-day Rayburn Championship.


(May. 05, 2013 - LAGRANGE, GA.) Skeet Reese is on fire - again. The Auburn, Calif., superstar of bass fishing was victorious Sunday in the Bassmaster Elite Series' West Point Lake Battle after starting the final round in seventh place, almost 2 1/2 pounds behind leader Tommy Biffle.


(May. 04, 2013 - FLORENCE, AL.) The Kansas State University team of Nathan Kozlowski and Lance Maldonado, both of Junction City, Kan., won the FLW College Fishing Central Conference event on Pickwick Lake Saturday with a five-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 8 ounces. The victory earned the club $2,000 and advanced the team to the FLW College Fishing Central Conference Invitational tournament.

(May. 04, 2013 - FLORENCE, AL.) Randy Haynes of Counce, Tenn., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 26 pounds, 14 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Central Division event on Pickwick Lake after leading wire-to-wire with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 79 pounds, 11 ounces.


(May. 04, 2013 - LAGRANGE, GA.) Saturday was a rainy day in Georgia, but Tommy Biffle was not singing the blues about the West Point Lake Battle. He managed to fill a five-fish limit after falling one bass short on both Day 1 and Day 2 of the Battle.

(May. 01, 2013 - EUFAULA, OK.) Justin Phillips of Checotah, Okla., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Okie Division event on Lake Eufaula. For his victory, Phillips earned $4,244.

Shawn Kowal of Linn Creek, Mo., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 14 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Ozark Division event on Stockton Lake. For his victory, Kowal earned $4,337.

(Apr. 30, 2013 - LAVONIA, GA.) Brandon Cobb of Greenwood, S.C., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 5 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Savannah River Division event on Lake Hartwell. For his victory, Cobb earned $6,807.


(Apr. 30, 2013 - Calcium, NY) The NY BASS Chapter Federation (NYBCF) held their fifth annual Take a Soldier Fishing event on April 27th on Oneida Lake with activities based out of Oneida Shores Park near Brewerton NY. This year the NYBCF assembled 66 volunteer boaters from across the north east region to take the Soldiers (men and women) out for free day's fishing. The 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) stationed at Fort Drum NY sent 114 Soldiers to participate as the guests of honor.

(Apr. 30, 2013 - GUNTERSVILLE, AL.) Billy Brindle of Calhoun, Ga., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 29 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Choo Choo Division event on Lake Guntersville. For his victory, Brindle earned $6,000.


(Apr. 29, 2013 - Sherwood, AR) Devil's Fork Weigh in Center Greers Ferry Lake Geers Ferry Ar. The third tournament for Arkansas's Couples opened with cloudy skies and temperatures in the high 50's. The 27 couples caught 123 fish weighing 211.96lbs with 21/5 fish limits.

(Apr. 27, 2013 - HUDDLESTON, VA.) The Ramapo College team of Joseph and Andrew Zapf, both of Whippany, N.J., won the FLW College Fishing Northern Conference event on Smith Mountain Lake Saturday with a five-bass limit weighing 12 pounds, 14 ounces. The victory earned the club $2,000 and advanced the team to the FLW College Fishing Northern Conference Invitational tournament.

(Apr. 27, 2013 - Lake O. H. Ivie, TX) What a WINDY DAY it was for the 2 0f Us teams that fished the O H Ivie tournament on April 20th. We had 9 teams fish, had a total of 11 fish caught (was a very tough day for fishing) and a total of 19.36 pounds.


(Apr. 26, 2013 - Shreveport/Bossier City, LA) Mike Pedroza has never hunted at the duck blind he fished today on the Red River, but he said he might try it sometime. "I might buy that duck blind," said Pedroza, who weighed in a 17-pound, 1-ounce bag to jump from 20th place into the lead on Day 2 at the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open. The local angler tops the pro division with 29 pounds, 2 ounces.


(Apr. 26, 2013 - Dandridge, TN.) Coby Carden held onto his Day 2 lead to win the 2013 B.A.S.S. Nation Southern Divisional today on Tennessee's Douglas Lake, and it was a catch in the last 10 minutes of competition that sealed the deal for him.


(Apr. 25, 2013 - DANDRIDGE, TN.) When Jennifer Carden saw her husband, Coby, in second place overall after Wednesday's weigh-in, she just couldn't stay at home in Calera, Ala. So at 5:30 this morning, she packed up their kids and drove to Dandridge, Tenn., with her father-in-law, Edwin, to surprise Carden at the weigh-in.

(Apr. 23, 2013 - BRANDON, MS.) Dudley Salers of Brandon, Miss., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 20 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Mississippi Division event on Ross Barnett. For his victory, Salers earned $4,271.


Edwards Jr. wins co-angler title
(Apr. 22, 2013 - KISSIMMEE, FL.) Richard Patterson of Windermere, Fla., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 29 pounds, 6 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Gator Division event on Lake Toho. For his victory, Patterson earned $4,948.


Mills wins co-angler title
(Apr. 22, 2013 - GILBERTSVILLE, KY.) Kyle Metzger of Paducah, Ky., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League LBL Division event on Kentucky/Barkley lakes. For his victory, Metzger earned $5,046.


Pyles wins co-angler title
(Apr. 22, 2013 - MARBURY, MD.) Wesley Harris of Rustburg, Va., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Shenandoah Division event on the Potomac River. For his victory, Harris earned $4,498 plus $2,000 Ranger and $1,000 Mercury bonuses.


Marsh, Boe Claim Title For Lake Orion Senior High School
(Apr. 22, 2013 - ROGERS, AR.) The team of Nick Marsh and Kyle Boe, from Lake Orion High School in Lake Orion, Mich., dominated the field Sunday with five bass weighing 10 pounds, 14 ounces to take the top honors at The Bass Federation (TBF) 2013 High School Fishing National Championship on Beaver Lake. For their efforts, the team won a $10,000 scholarship ($5,000 to each team member).

(Apr. 22, 2013 - BRISTOL, TN.) Doug Austin of Bristol, Va., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Volunteer Division event on South Holston. For his victory, Austin earned $3,679.

(Apr. 22, 2013 - Paris, TN) The Bethel University team of Cody Ross, Dewey Swims, Zach Parker, and Matthew Roberts set the bar high on Day One of the ACA Collegiate Bass Fishing Open and never looked back. Anchored by Cody Ross' 10.44 pound brute on the first day of competition, the Bethel Wildcats proved they know a thing or two about Kentucky Lake.

(Apr. 21, 2013 - ROGERS, AR.) The University of Louisiana-Monroe team of Paul Clark of Monroe, La., and Brett Preuett of Pineville, Ala., brought four bass to the scales Sunday totaling 12 pounds, 4 ounces to win the 2013 FLW College Fishing National Championship on Beaver Lake. Their three-day total of 14 bass weighing 40-3 gave them a slim 9-ounce margin of victory in a dramatic finish over the University of North Carolina-Charlotte team of Shane Lehew of Charlotte, N.C., and Adam Waters of Denver, N.C.


(Apr. 21, 2013 - Mill Creek Grocery, Lake Sam Rayburn, TX) We had a total of 18 couples fish our tournament. A total of 73 fish caught and 157.46lbs. We were welcomed by Mill Creek Grocery. First place was won by Ty & Kim Hutchins with a total weight 16.85lb, second place was won by Chris Fontenot & Sheryl Cranford with a weight of 15.36lbs and third place was won by Derek & Tammy Mong with a weight of 14.72lbs.

In the fourth of five tournaments for the East Texas Region on April 13, 2013 anglers enjoyed a whopping 122% payback percentage. Arkansas anglers Scotty Villines and Charles Jones championed the event taking home over $20,000.


(Apr. 18, 2013 - Lake LBJ, Granite Shoals, TX) The 2 of Us West Region held their first tournament of the season on Lake LBJ on March 9th. We had ten teams present. There was a total of 26 fish caught for a total of 63.56 pounds.

(Apr. 15, 2013 - SUMMERTON, S.C.) Mark Hutson of Moncks Corner, S.C., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 27 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League South Carolina Division event on the Santee Cooper lakes. For his victory, Hutson earned $3,505.
