The University of Louisiana-Monroe team of Thomas Soileau and Hunter Freeman, both of Monroe, Louisiana, grabbed the early lead Wednesday after Day One of the 2018 YETI FLW College Fishing National Championship on the Red River presented by Lowrance C-MAP Genesis. The Warhawk duo brought a five-bass limit to the scale weighing 14 pounds, 7 ounces, giving them a 12-ounce cushion over the second place team of Charlie DeShazer and Jackson Ebbers from the University of Nebraska.

Nation Western Regional presented by Magellan Outdoors. But, as always, there were a handful of anglers able to figure out what the bass in California’s largest natural body of water were doing.

Tyler Corey of Amherst, Wisconsin, and Casey Hoffman of New London, Wisconsin, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 15 pounds, 11 ounces to win the 2018 Bass Pro Shops FLW High School Fishing Mississippi River Open. The win advanced the team to the 2018 High School Fishing National Championship, held June 26-30, on Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama.

(May 22, 2018 - Greenville’s Miller Wins Co-angler Title) Boater Adam Wood of Springfield, Georgia, caught five bass weighing 21 pounds, 3 ounces, Saturday to win the 2018 T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) South Carolina Division event at Clarks Hill Lake. For his victory, Wood earned $4,550.

For his victory, Wood brought home $6,879.

(May 22, 2018 - Eufaula, OK) Boater Mark Johnson of Weleetka, Oklahoma, brought a five-bass limit to the scale weighing 18 pounds, 6 ounces Saturday to win the 2018 T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Okie Division event at Lake Eufaula. For his victory, Johnson earned $5,349.

(May 22, 2018 - Houston County Lake, TX) Fourteen Individuals came out to Lake Houston to fish the Anglers Quest Tournament. The temperature started out at 86 degrees and ended up around 93 degrees before it started cooling off from the rain that was on the way Sunday evening.


Fredericksburg’s Williams Wins Co-angler Title
(May 22, 2018 - HUDDLESTON, Va.) Boater Rick Tilley of Moneta, Virginia, brought a five-bass limit to the scale weighing 18 pounds, 5 ounces Saturday to win the 2018 T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Shenandoah Division event at Smith Mountain Lake. Tilley earned $4,350 for his victory.


Brandon’s Gilmore Wins Co-angler Title
(May 22, 2018 - BRANDON, Ms.) Local boater Shannon Denson of Brandon, Mississippi, brought a five-bass limit to the scale weighing 21 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday to win the 2018 T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Mississippi Division event at Ross Barnett Reservoir presented by Navionics. For his victory, Denson earned $7,610.


Tennessee’s Jason Lambert Weighs More than 100 Pounds of Bass in Four Days at Kentucky Lake, Wins $100,000
(May 20, 2018 - GILBERTSVILLE, Ky.) Pro Jason Lambert of Michie, Tennessee, brought five bass weighing 27 pounds, 3 ounces, to the FLW weigh-in stage Sunday to win the FLW Tour at Kentucky Lake presented by Costa Sunglasses by a margin of 28 pounds even – a new all-time FLW Tour record for margin of victory.

(May 16, 2018 - Lake Conroe, TX) Kyle Nitshke & Jason Bonds came walking to the scales with both carrying each side of the bulging weigh-in bag. I knew then that they had an awesome limit of bass. Their largest fish was a 7.56 lb’er.

Thanks to Ranger Cup contingency Sprengel walked away with a brand-new Ranger 620FS plus a Mercury outboard, $15,000 and $2,635 in Anglers Advantage cash for a total of $82,635 in winnings.

(May 16, 2018 - GILBERTSVILLE, Ky) The Marshall County High School team of Tristan Barrett and Evan Bremmerkamp brought a two-day cumulative total of eight bass weighing 27 pounds, 11 ounces to the scale this weekend, beating out 67 other teams to win the 2018 Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) State Bass Fishing Championship on Kentucky Lake.


Co-angler Title Goes to Hendersonville’s Brinson
(May 16, 2018 - WINCHESTER, TN) Boater David Steadman Jr. of Normandy, Tennessee, won the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Music City Division tournament on Tims Ford Lake Saturday with a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 13 ounces. Steadman pocketed $2,648 for his win.


(May 16, 2018 - Lakepoint, CA) The University of California-Merced team of Herbie LeBlanc of Gilroy, California, and Tshu Xiong of Merced, California, won the YETI FLW College Fishing event at Clear Lake presented by Bass Pro Shops on Saturday with a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 10 ounces. The victory earned the Bobcats bass club $2,250 and a spot in the 2019 FLW College Fishing National Championship.


Lewis Takes Co-angler Title
(May 16, 2018 - ANDERSON, S.C.) Boater Kerry Partain of Elberton, Georgia, caught five bass weighing 14 pounds, 14 ounces, to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) South Carolina Division tournament Saturday on Lake Hartwell. For his efforts, Partain took home $3,705.

(May 16, 2018 - EUFAULA, AL.) Boater Josh Stracner of Vandiver, Alabama, caught five bass Saturday weighing 22 pounds, 15 ounces, to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Bama Division tournament on Lake Eufaula. For his efforts, Stracner earned $4,418.

(May 16, 2018 - Columbus OH) The Oak Hill High School fishing duo of Keaton Potter and Mitchell Hale, both of Oak Hill, Ohio, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 9 pounds, 11 ounces to win the 2018 TBF/FLW High School Fishing Ohio State Championship on Alum Creek.
