The thermometer read in the one hundreds at launch time but that didn’t stop the ladies from fishing the night tournament at Cedar Creek on the 14th. As the night progressed the temps dropped and made it a more comfortable event. The fish didn’t seem to mind as there were three limits brought in including some pretty healthy fish.
First place was won by Cheryl Bowden, who also had the big bass of the night weighing in at 5.38. Her total weight was 17.29 Second place went to Inge Kirby with 10.65. Jan Bruner was third with 10.49. Others bringing in fish were; Barbara Arrington, 8.62, Sue Cullins, 4.60, Cindy Strong, 4.28, Norma Ussery 2.21, Tracy Smith, 2.01, and Uli Mueller, 1.79.
