The Amphibian spinning and spincast combos provide anglers with a sense of confidence, from practice casting in the yard or out in the boat. The 5-foot, 6-inch tubular glass rods with a youth-design split grip handle enhance the overall feel of the rod. The updated graphics on the rod feature blue, orange or pink digi-camo patterns.
Six models are offered with three size 30 spinning models and three size 10 spincast models. Each rod and reel combo is pre-spooled with line, making it easy for youth to hit the water. Shakespeare Amphibian combos have an MSRP of $19.99 and are sold pre-spooled with tough, durable line.
Shakespeare has also revamped the Salamander combos with a refreshed, modern look. The same great feel is noticeable throughout the 4-foot, 6-inch spincast combo. A size six spincast reel is pre-spooled with 6-pound line. The two Salamander combos have an MSRP of $14.99 and are equipped with soft, EVA grips that give youth anglers increased sensitivity when the big one tugs on the line.
