Well the final tournament of 2010 was held at Lake Ivie – and the Anglers of the Year are (drum roll please) – Roy and Teresa Smith! What a year they have had! They won againthis Saturday weighing in 12.44 lbs. Second place was Dalton & Carrie Cooley with a total of 12.10 lbs and Carrie had Ladies Big Bass with 2.74 lbs. A whopper was weighed by Barry Merrill weighimg 8.05 lbs. for Men’s Big Bass. What a beauty! We were truly blessed with considerably cooler weather than it could have been. It stayed cloudy most of the day – but the wind was – well let’s just say it limited where you could fish and madethe ridequite interesting crossing the lake!
We have had a fun and interesting year. The weather has played havoc with our tournaments – but we made it through. The West Region is looking forward to hosting the Championship here at Lake Brownwood the second weekend in October. Hope everyone will come and prefish and enjoy the lake.
