A Fresh Look for Woman Anglers
Lady anglers now have a choice from a wide selection of rods and reels in the Pflueger Lady Trion combo family. Baitcast, spinning, spincast, and underspin are all included in this new line of tackle, and a portion of all sales is donated to the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF).
Pflueger has given a fresh new look to the line of Lady Trions with refreshing teal colored reels, EVA foam handles, and a white rod blank. “It doesn’t have to be pink to be for her. We wanted to give women something new to choose from in a ladies combo reel,” says Pflueger manager Casey Davidson.
The entire Lady Trion series is custom-tailored for the female angler with ergonomic grips, custom actions and reel sizes, and a lightweight IM-6 graphite rod for added comfort. Furthermore, the series is modeled after the proven Pflueger Trion series to assure quality performance and durability in each of its baitcast, spinning, and spincast models.
The Lady Trion low profile baitcast reel is paired with a 6’3″ rod and features a reinforced graphite frame and sideplates, three stainless steel ball bearings, star drag, instant anti-reverse, adjustable magnetic anti-backlash control, a machined anodized aluminum spool, and soft touch thumb bar spool release.
The Lady Trion spinning combos cover a wide range of applications, and include a 6’6″ medium action rod with a size 30 spinning reel, a 6’10” medium action rod with a size 35 reel, and a 5’0″ ultralight with a size 20 reel. The reels are built of lightweight graphite and include 6 stainless steel ball bearings (four in the ultralight combo), a Sure-Click bail, an anti-twist titanium line roller, and a machined double anodized aluminum spool.
Lady Trion spincast combos offer great performance in an easy to use design and include 3 ball bearings, a machined aluminum front cone, titanium coated pick-up pins, heavy-duty metal gears, a smooth adjustable disc drag system, and come pre-spooled with line.
All rods are crafted from an IM-6 graphite blank for lightweight performance and increased sensitivity. Rounding out the rods are stainless steel guides and inserts, lightweight graphite reel seats, comfortable EVA handles, and hook keepers.
