Nemire Lures of Scottsdale, Arizona, recently announced its sponsorship of the 2001 Professional Red Fish Tour as well as its new “Go For The Gold” award program designed to reward anglers in the Red Fish Tour who use specific Nemire Lures products during the tournament.
“We’re pleased to announce this sponsorship and the Go For The Gold program as a way to support anglers,” said President John Nemire. “Early reports of the Red Ripper’s success led us to offer this award program for our customers.”
“The Red Ripper Spoon is 10 times better than any artificial lure I’ve ever used to catch Redfish” said Flip Pallot, fishing guide, professional angler and host of the weekly fly fishing show on ESPN, “Walker’s Cay Chronicles.”
Under the Go For The Gold program, a team winning first place using Nemire Lures will receive a $1,000 prize in addition to their tournament winnings. Teams who place second using Nemire Lures will receive a $500 prize in addition to their winnings while third place teams using Nemire Lures will receive $250. The eligible Nemire Lures are the Red Ripper, the Spoon Buzzer Sr., the Spoon Buzzer Jr. and the Spoon Cranker.
“Our lures feature a patented Sound Chamber that introduces a new sound that lure-wary fish haven’t heard before,” added Nemire. “Since the sound is new to them, they tend to react and go after the lure more. Our products not only sound good, they look good in 24-karat gold and silver finishes. In addition, gold and silver are excellent conductors of the sound produced by the Sound Chamber.”
