Targeting powerboats and sailboats,Fischer Panda has announced two new diesel generators‹the Panda 5000 and the 15K Mini DP AC.
For the smaller sailing yachts and the 33 to 45 foot outboard powerboat markets, the new Panda 5000 will provide more power to run the AC consumers
onboard without the need to power manage. The 15K DP will provide a great power option for the powerboat market where more power in needed in tight spaces.
“These two new generators are both powered by robust Kubota diesel engines and are perfect power solutions,” said Chad Godwin, Fischer Panda’s US Sales and Marketing Director. “As the boating market is seeing more AC consumer demands put on boats, Fischer Panda has built these new generators to fit the market.”
Godwin said the Panda 15 Mini DP is powered by the reliable freshwater-cooled Kubota 902 three-cylinder diesel engine and is 30-40% smaller than its competitors. The Panda 5000, which is 40-50% smaller than most of the 5K generators on the market, also offers boaters 43 amps of power with a VCS (voltage control system) electronic governor providing excellent voltage stability. The Panda 5000 features the new Kubota twin-cylinder engine.
Both generators feature Panda¹s superior asynchronous water-cooled alternators.
All Fischer Panda generators come with standard 100% freshwater cooling, superior sound enclosure, bulkhead external connections, remote fuel lift
pump and remote control panel.
According to Godwin, testing conducted by the company has shown the Panda 5000 and 15K to be on average 50% more fuel-efficient than a comparative
sized gas marine generator.
Godwin said with an MSRP for the Panda 5000 is $11,995.00 and the 15K is $19,950.00. Both generators come with a limited 5-year warranty.
