Saturday turned out to be one of the most beautiful days so far this fall. There were thirteen of us fishing and everyone caught fish. But, some had much better luck than others! Cheryl Bowden finished in First Place with a total weight of 10.74 lbs. Pam Rodden came in Second with 10.51 lbs. and Carol Smith finished in Third Place with 9.29 lbs. All three ladies caught more than the 5 fish limit so they had the luxury of being able to cull. What a day! Dawn March – who finished in Fifth Place also caught more than a limit.
Boat houses and points proved to be the best places to catch fish but not everyone had as much luck with it as the top finishers did.
We welcome our newest members, Tegan Mason and Cintia Crumley. Both ladies did quite well for newcomers – Tegan got Big Bass with a nice 3.96 pounder and Cintia caught three nice fish for a total weight of 7.27 lbs. Way to go girls!
