(01/05/2001 - Kilgore, Texas) Fishing rough water? Gotta have a Deep V. No matter how far north or how tough the conditions, Skeeter has a Deep V built for big water, a great ride and even better fishing experience. Skeeter's new ZX2050 satisfies the special itch big water anglers have, whether it be fishing for walleye, northern pike, salmon or lake trout. The hydrodynamically designed Deep V hull makes for a fast and dry ride in even the worst chop. They're rugged too. Skeeter's unique X-TREME and X-CEL composite design, backed by over ten years of engineering and construction experience, is used for all Deep V floors, stringers, transoms and hulls, and results in a lasting performance year after year under even the harshest conditions.

Fishability features include a spacious interior with two stern livewells, one of 14 gallons and one of ten gallons. Each livewell is maintained with a livewell control system to keep the catch strong and healthy. Other features include a large capacity built-in front cooler, roomy front storage compartments and unique in-floor rod storage, side rod storage and shelf and bow traction mat. The walk through console features tournament windscreens and Skeeter's ergonomically engineered cockpit design, with full instrumentation and Zercom electronics. Factory installed Pinpoint Network cables allow easy installation of Pinpoint Sonars at three locations-the bow, console and stern.

The 20-foot, four-inch long, 94-inch wide and 250-horsepower capacity fiberglass Skeeter ZX2050 is the largest and most powerful Deep V in the Skeeter line. A fixed driver's chair with seat slider, two moveable fishing chairs and four floor bases, hydraulic tilt steering, bow panel with troll receptacle and trim switch are just some of the features of this deep water fishing machine. The interior light package illuminates the rod and gear storage boxes, livewells, ZX2050- cockpit and front deck. Stainless steel handrails and pull-up cleats, retractable utility light, dual bank battery charger, battery trays and large capacity bilge pumps are items Skeeter adds to the mix for a complete big water boat.

The ZX2050 weighs dry at 1,950 pounds. The maximum weight capacity is 1,650 pounds with maximum capacity of 7 persons or 1,075 pounds. The dual fuel tanks hold a total of 58 gallons. The Skeeter tandem axle tube trailer has a swing-away tongue to simplify storage, disc brakes, aluma-look wheels, spare tire and carrier, transom saver and tie downs.
