Under Wild Skies Hunts with National Rifle Association's LaPierre and Cox, Sunday on ESPN Outdoors Programming

Under Wild Skies' Tony Makris, National Rifle Association's Wayne LaPierre and Chris Cox document their hunt from Botswana for ESPN Outdoors programming Oct. 26 on ESPN2. The trio visits the Okavango Delta for cape buffalo. LaPierre draws a bead on one, while Cox takes a nice plains game animal. Follow the chase Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET.

Now in its fourth season, Under Wild Skies features the world of safari, bringing a unique perspective on African hunting as the cameras follow the experts in their adventures. Makris hosts a variety of sports figures, politicians and celebrities on hunts spanning the globe.

Saturday's Chronicles of the Hunt joins Ted Gartner and Dale Rollins as they share their passion of quail hunting and time in a field with bird dogs, Oct. 25 at 7 a.m. Later, the show heads to Michigan, where Shane Jones details a great whitetail deer hunt.

Chronicles of the Hunt, in its debut season on ESPN2, features a mix of North American big game hunts, African Safaris, upland game birds and waterfowl hunting.

Chronicles of the Hunt and Under Wild Skies continue the fourth quarter season, with new episodes airing on weekends, October through December on ESPN2. ESPN Outdoors will continue to provide quality programming and provide tips from professional hunters and experts who give the latest information with the most entertaining and exciting outdoor action on television and the Web.
