(Feb. 12, 2007 - Kennesaw, GA) Jeff Land, Kennesaw, Ga., has joined Yamaha Marine Group as a customer service representative, according to Bob Popiel, a department manager in marine service. Land will support the service department by providing timely and effective response to customer inquiries and/or customers needing assistance regarding Yamaha Marine products and services. Land comes to Yamaha having spent more than 27 years with Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems in Marietta, Ga. His most recent position with the company was a senior contracts negotiator working on commercial airliner and military transport programs. Land earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of La Verne and an associate degree in aviation maintenance from the University of Hawaii.
