(Oct. 05, 2005 - Edgewater, FL) EdgeWater Powerboats recently expanded its production facility in Edgewater, Fla., by 22,000 square feet bringing their total facility size up 94,000 square feet. “Our business continues to grow at a steady pace. This expansion will allow us to maintain this growth, and roll out new, larger models.” says Peter Truslow, President. “This new building will house our growing custom and commercial business and will allow us to build more tooling in-house. This expansion will also enable EdgeWater to consolidate all of our larger, close molded boat production into a separate building.” “As we look ahead we see our business moving more towards the higher technology construction processes. Our new building gives our close molding teams their own production building,” says Truslow. EdgeWater builds premium quality, unsinkable, offshore boats ranging in size from 14 to 31 feet at its five building factory in Edgewater. All are powered by Yamaha outboards.
