Rick - it was a pleasure as always to see you today. You run a truly great boat shop, and I wanted to thank you again for all the assistance you have provided. As you know, after much thought - and very helpful advice from you - I purchased a Bayliner 175 from you last year which has run perfectly and was without question the right choice for my family. I have had absolutely no problems with the boat, other than those caused (unfortunately) by me, and when I have had any need of help from your repair shop, they (and in particular your chief, Martin) have been tremendous. I would recommend Marine Outlet without reservation to any and all. You are honest, deliver personal service (which is lacking in most places in today's world), and have a tremendous knowledge and experience in the field. Thanks as always, Val.

Rick:
Just wanted to thank you personally for all your help in the purchase of the boat. We took it out this weekend for the first time, and everything went great--you should have seen the smiles on the kid's faces!
Also, thanks for the answers to the follow-up questions. The buying experience was a good one, and I look forward to a long relationship with Marine Outlet.
Thanks again.

Rick,
I wanted to write to let you know how much I appreciated the service rendered me by one of your technicians.
Last Friday, May 30th, I brought my rig in for a problem I thought might be related to fouled carburators. The motor was running rough and would not reach max RPM. To my good fortune, as the service order was being written, your technician, known to me only as A.C., decided to remove the cowling and take a look at the motor. He immediately found a loose distributor wire and the root of my problem. I had been prepared to leave the boat with you so I cannot describe how grateful I was to learn that nothing serious was wrong with the motor. What really impressed me was A.C.'s troubleshooting skills, enthusiasm, and complete honesty.
I have heard a lot of good things about your business and your customer service. After this experience, you can be assured that I'll come to you for all my future boating needs. Please pass on to A.C. my sincere appreciation for all he did for me.
Sincerely,
Ariel

Sorry to be so long in writing this note, but we have had one major sickness after the other in our family, (both our parents) and things have just gotten so busy. However, I still wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your staying in there with us until Willard's boat and motor (purchased last summer) were completely lake-ready and fixed. The way you handled everything was very reassuring and we appreciate it! It is nice to know somebody out there still gives such Sterling service!
Fishing has really picked up here on Lake Whitney and Willard goes every single chance he has.
Sincerely,
Fern

I just acquired a used Yamaha 2000 outboard and was seeking some information regarding lower unit rotation engine model year, etc. My intent is to service the engine an mount it on my Chris Craft Sea Hawk. I accessed the internet and found a list of Yamaha dealer. Unfortunately I tried another dealer in South Texas and was admonished for using his toll-free number that cost him ".25 Cents a minute."
I tried to explain that it wasn't practical for me to bring the engine from McPherson, Kansas, to South Texas for repair of maintenance (to my knowledge, there are no certified Yamaha outboard dealers in Kansas.) Therefore, I was seeking information and a potential parts source. That apparently wasn't enough to convince him that his 25 cents per minute was a good investment.
At that point, I felt a little frustrated and concerned that I might be asking too much from a dealer. Then I called your company. My day went from marginal to great!! You answered the phone, gave me enough information to get moving, and the called back later to suggest that I check something else before proceeding. What a great way to conduct business!!!
I experienced one of the worst customer service scenarios and the best I've encountered in years all in a 20 - minute span.
Thanks for taking the time to help me get started. Your Company will be my Yamaha parts source. I look forward to stopping in the next time I'm in the Waco area and personally thanking you.
Best Regards,
John

Rick,
We had hundreds of hours of fun with family and friends on the pontoon boat that we purchased at Marine Outlet in 1986. When we decided to be boat owners for the second time, we chose Marine Outlet again because the service had been exemplary. We had planned to purchase another pontoon boat; but, when we saw the Hurricane, we knew it was made for us. We were so right!
Better maneuverability, better design, and better speed. It's the greatest and well worth the extra cost. We are having the best time scooting around Stillhouse Lake. It's given us "seniors" a new lease on life! All your recommendations were right on target--the four-stroke engine is so quiet that we can hear the radio while speeding across the lake and that back entrance is very convenient.
We appreciate your taking so much time to find just the Hurricane we wanted and staying late on the 4th of July just so we'd have our new boat for the weekend. You and your staff demonstrate the expertise and professionalism that we associate with Marine Outlet. Thank you for helping us to purchase the perfect boat.
With Appreciation,
Suzi and Ken

Marine Outlet - Customer Survey
Overall Professionalism of the Service Staff: Everyone was great! Sales - Service - Staff and the owner!
The Service Staff Listened and Understood: No question. It is over 100 miles for me to get there but well worth it.
Overall Cleanliness and Appearance of Our Service Area: I've seen a heck of a lot worse. First Class.
Quality of Service Work Performed: New Boat- Everything is just the way I wanted.
Was the Work Performed on Time: Only problem was shipping of leaning post, but that was fine. That was the manufactures fault.
Were you Kept Informed of Work in Progress: Yes. Steve and Jackie were great!
Was your Boat Clean at Time of Pick Up: It was clean, but "I" got it dirty when I climbed in it. LOL
Would you recommend a friend to Marine Outlet for their Service Needs: Already have.
In What way Could We Improve: Open a store up here. I had to go 100 miles for good service and sales. You guys are a jewel on I-35. No pressure at all - great folks who listen suggest, but never push. This boat is what I wanted. I never heard the word NO when I asked questions. You guys let me ask hours of questions and spent what seems like a great deal of time with me. Out of 5 boat dealers in the Metroplex, I got the friendliest and most knowledgeable help, sales, and service 2 hours from home. My next boat will come from Marine Outlet. Thanks for all of your help, I have and will tell people about you.
Steve
