In September of 1999, Marine Supply, Inc. was incorporated, and purchased the assets of the existing Marine Supply Company. It had been operating at the same location on Hiway 71 South, in El Campo for almost 50 years. Lack of available working & parking space, as well as the size, age, and condition of the buildings soon became a hinderance to continued business growth and customer satisfaction. With these issues in mind, we began construction of our new facility in the fall of 2005. It is located on almost 4 acres near the junction of U. S. Hiway 59 and Business 59, on the Victoria (Southwest) side of El Campo. This location offers spacious customer parking, a large covered display area, as well as air conditioned parts & accessories departments. The Service Department is housed in 5 large service bays in the rear of the building. We moved in March of 2006, and to better describe our focus on coastal, recreational boating, we changed the dealership name to El Campo Boating Center.

The dealership currently has 5 fulltime employees, including the owners, Bill & Kate Corgey; the Service Manager, Jack McKelvy; and two Service Technicians, Ray Rivas and Joe Gomez.

The Dealer Principal, Bill Corgey, is a 1970 Mechanical Engineering graduate of Texas A&M University. He spent 5 years as a Marine Corps pilot and 24 years in Engineering & Management with Reynolds Metals Company.

1. Boat, motor, trailer, generator, and kayak sales.
2. Full service & repair for the product lines we carry.
3. Parts & accessories.
4. Some fishing supplies.

We do sell used boats. Trade-ins are generally welcome, depending on age, condition, and resalability in the local market.

El Campo Boating Center is a member of the Texas Boating Trades Association & Bill Corgey is on the Association Board of Directors.
