Everything that goes on at Madisonville Marine is by far a Team Effort; everyone has an important part in making sure that you have a worry free boating experience. Here are the people that make up our "Team".
Steve Sloan grew up here and opened Madisonville Marine in 1976 with one goal, to provide quality products with professional service to his community. He has worked hard to make it through the ups and downs of the Marine Industry. With thirty years of success behind the name "Madisonville Marine" he has set the precedent of customer service and loyalty.
Joe Speciale owns Rhea Harbor Marina,on watts barr lake, another local and successful marine business. He and Steve have been long time friends with the same goal in mind. So when he was asked to join Madisonville Marine as a partner in 2003 he saw it as a chance to work with a friend and businessman in building the best dealership around.
Mary Gail started working for us in the winter of 1987. Before coming to Madisonville Marine, she was employed at Madisonville Ford, where she won the Ford Motor Company's Accounting Excellence Award for twelve years in a row. She has always worked with the public and is a great believer in customer service. When you call in, if she doesn't know the answer, she can direct you to the person that will.
David Sloan (sound familiar, yes he and Steve are cousins) came to work in 1984, he started out hauling boats for us. He taught school and coached football as well as basketball in Vonore, after that he worked for the Department of Agriculture for fifteen years. Boating and fishing his whole life, he is a vital part of our Sales Team.
Matthew Partin is the Service Manager. Factory trained in Yamaha and Mercury Outboards as well as Mercruiser Stern Drives he is a professional in his field.
Danny Roberts is part of our Rigging Department; he helps get your boat perfect before it leaves our dealership. He is also a volunteer on the Rescue Squad and has been with us since 2002.
Travis Kaylor was a heavy equipment operator for nine years before joining Madisonville Marine. He helped break the ground for our new dealership, operating equipment and pouring concrete he has been with us since 2005. Travis has completed Yamaha training.
Michael kaylor has been in consruction, after completing yamaha rigging school he is a valued part of our rigging team.
Dave Carnes is part of our Sales Team and has been with us since 2002. He has 12 years of Marine Sales experience and has been an avid boater all of his life. You can reach him at davec@madmarine.com
