I retired after 32 years in the US Army. I had not had a chance to get my boat into the water for over 2 years prior to retirement. I took the boat to a dealer who had my boat for over a month and it still had the same problems, so on the recommendation of several people I contacted Anderson Marine. I have never, ever, been treated better by any kind of service in my 50 years. One of your technicians, Brett, continued to work the issue, constantly updating me, until it was solved. Thank you so much for all the effort you put forth to replace my lower unit on my Ranger 620, Yamaha motor. Your shop went above and beyond my expectations! I was in the area for a tournament on Barren River Lake, and Tuesday evening, 2 days before the tournament started I had lower unit issues. I thought for sure the tournament was over for me and that my trip was wasted. I was referred to Anderson Marine on Wednesday morning and made the 80 mile trip in hopes that all was not lost. I spoke to Ray and he was able to install a loaner lower unit on my Yamaha motor until the new one arrived. They had the loaner installed in plenty of time for me to make it back for the tournament meeting. The new lower unit arrived on Thursday, Ray made arrangements for me to come back that evening (after my tournament) to have the new unit installed. I was able to fish the 1st & 2nd day of the tournament, I unfortunately didn’t make it to day 3. All in all I had a great time the week I was here, and would love to live in the area in the future!
