Ray started in the boat business in 1982 because he loved working on engines and fixing things. Ray's childhood memories of boating and fishing with his family inspired him to help others enjoy boating too!

Joy Anderson grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and met Ray while working for a Marine Finance Company. With a love for the outdoors and adventure, Joy enjoys helping customers find the right boat and motor for them!

Anderson Marine is Celebrating 30 years of dedication to the enjoyment of boating. Ray & Joy have had the Great privilege to visit Japan With the Yamaha outboard group. We have toured the Yamaha Factory, the new parts distribution center and experienced first hand Yamaha's investment in Quality and Technology. Ray got into the boat business because he was a "motor head" and has followed his passion of quality boats and motors so that Customers experience personal attention with experienced service.
