Richmond Marine and Sports - Service Department

We service all brands of outboards, boats, pontoons and trailers, and are a factory authorized warranty repair facility for the following brands: Evinrude, Mercury, Weeres, Mirrocraft, Lowe, Suncruiser, Can Am, Jiffy, Strikemaster, Eskimo, Tecumseh and Robin.

Our Service Department is staffed by two full-time technicians and a service mangager. This team has over 50 combined years of experience, and has been servicing Evinrude and Johnson outboards since 1972 and Mercury motors since 1986. All of our service personnel are Evinrude, Mercury, Can-Am and Tecumseh certified.

We offer prop repair, engine and gearcase rebuilding, repair and replacement of floors, carpet and furniture on pontoons and boats, and complete trailer service including brakes, couplers, wheel bearings and lighting systems. Additionally, we rig anchors, locators, trolling motors and other accessories, and offer a wide array of custom work including fabrication of brackets to mount anchors and ladders. Also, we are one of the few dealers that work on older outboards and boats including antiques.

We have a suite of storage services to meet our customer's needs, including outside and inside storage for both summer and winter seasons, shrink wrapping, winterization, boat hull and pontoon cleaning, and maintenance checks and services. We also offer pick-up and delivery services for both storage and service needs.

We also offer small engine repair, sharpening and rebuilding of chainsaw blades, and complete ice auger repair services.

We do custom canvas work and repairs for marine, agricultural an transportation applications. We also repair shoes and handbags, sew patches onto leather garments and replace a lot of jacket zippers, especially in the winter!
