Who is the current Service Manager & what is his or her background?
Does the Service Manager have any specific ways of tracking customer satisfaction?
Does the Service Manager/Dept. have a "follow-up" program designed to notify customers of scheduled service inspections, etc.?
How many technicians are employed in the service department?
Are your technicians certified by current engine schools, etc? If so, which certifications do they carry?
Are your service techs trained in any "special" technology that might set them apart from other Dealership Service Depts? If so, what is it?
Is the work done in your Service Dept. carry any kind of Dealership warranty/guarantee? If so, what is it?
Are an Authorized Service/Parts provider for any manufacturer(s)? List them!
Has the Dealership’s Service Dept. been awarded any special recognition by manufacturers, etc.?
Is your Service Dept. one of the "features" in your Dealership brochure?
The goal of this page is to promote business in your Service & Parts Dept. Obviously both of those areas are sources of revenue, but they also do something else they keep the customer coming back into your Dealership! That gives you the first opportunity to sell them their next boat! So, you want to KEEP IT POSITIVE and once again, list the BEST things about your Service Dept.!
