Boaters HQ story began in 1988, when Britt Thompson opened his full service garage in Kingsland, Texas, servicing the Highland Lakes area. The business has grown from those early beginnings into one of the largest and most reputable boat and water sport retailers in the Southwest. In 1996, after 8 years as a marine service center, Britt became associated with Skeeter Boats, and now sells G3 aluminum boats, along with Cobia and Century pleasure boats.
As the Highland Lakes area has grown, so have we. Our new 18,000 square foot, "state of the art" Showroom and Proshop on Lake LBJ, offers boat shoppers a unique experience. As you step into our air-conditioned showroom and walk along the elevated sales dock, you can conveniently board up to fifteen of the boats that are currently in our inventory. Also you will find a wide selection of boating accessories and equipment from the large selection offered in our Boaters HQ Dock Shop. We are confident that you will find the perfect boat waiting for you and we encourage each customer to take the opportunity to "Drive Before you buy".
