(Apr 26, 2015 - Grand Lake, OK) The duo of Kristopher Queen and Tyler Black of Bandys High School in Catawba, North Carolina, brought five bass to the Walmart FLW Tour scale Sunday weighing 17 pounds, 15 ounces, to win the 2015 FLW/TBF High School Fishing National Championship on Grand Lake. The win earned the team the title of National Champions and a $5,000 scholarship for each of the anglers to a school of their choosing.


North Carolina Pro Bags Largest Stringer of Tourney on Final Day to Clinch Victory  
(Apr 26, 2015 - Rogers, Ar) Quaker State pro Matt Arey has been crowned the new “Mr. Beaver Lake.” After winning this same event in 2014, the Shelby, North Carolina, native caught a five-bass limit Sunday weighing 17 pounds, 13 ounces – the largest stringer weighed in the four-day tournament – to win the Walmart FLW Tour at Beaver Lake presented by Rayovac. Arey’s four-day total of 20 bass weighing 55 pounds, 6 ounces earned him the top prize of $125,000.


(Apr 26, 2015 - Rogers, Ar) Shawn Gordon of Russellville, Arkansas, weighed a five-bass limit on the Walmart FLW Tour stage totaling 18 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the TBF National Championship on Grand Lake with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 50 pounds, 2 ounces. For his victory, Gordon earned the $100,000 “Living The Dream” prize package and a new Ranger Z518 boat.


Reigning Angler of the Year Takes 1½-Pound Lead In To Fourth and Final Day
(Apr 25, 2015 - Rogers, AR) Livingston Lures pro Andy Morgan of Dayton, Tennessee, caught a five-bass limit weighing 10 pounds, 9 ounces Saturday to retain the lead on day three of the Walmart FLW Tour at Beaver Lake presented by Rayovac. Morgan’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 39 pounds, 2 ounces gives him a 1-pound, 9-ounce lead as competitors enter the fourth and final day of competition in the event that featured 154 of the best bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

(Apr 24, 2015 - Rogers, AR) The weather threw anglers another curveball Friday morning at the Walmart FLW Tour at Beaver Lake presented by Rayovac. After cold and wind greeted anglers on Thursday, heavy rainfall and lightning was the story today, prompting FLW Tournament Director Bill Taylor to delay takeoff 45 minutes due to the lightning and low visibility.

After the field of 154 anglers had crossed the weigh-in stage, pro Jacob Wheeler of Indianapolis, Indiana, stood alone atop the leaderboard after bringing a five-bass limit to the scale weighing 15 pounds, 14 ounces.

(Apr 21, 2015 - Lake Houston, TX) It was a beautiful day to be  on Lake Houston ! The weather was beautiful with a slight breeze that felt great ! There were 15 Fishermen who entered to fish. Randy Quinn took 1st place with 5 bass that weighed 14.51 lbs. He received a check for $550.00 for his day on the water.

University of Kentucky Claims Second and Bethel University Takes Third
(Apr 20, 2015 - San Antonio, Texas) Not to be discouraged by the extreme rain conditions, 146 boats combined into a total of 86 teams braved the pouring rain in search of giant Lake Chickamauga bass with one single goal in mind and that was to claim the honor of Collegiate Bass Fishing Open Champion.

(Apr 20, 2015 - GUNTERSVILLE, AL.) Ryan Salzman of Huntsville, Alabama, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 31 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win the third Walmart Bass Fishing League Choo Choo Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Guntersville. For his victory, Salzman earned $4,948.


Rudolph wins co-angler title
(Apr 20, 2015 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Joshua Morfis of Cape Coral, Florida, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 34 pounds, 14 ounces Saturday to win the fourth Walmart Bass Fishing League Gator Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Okeechobee. For his victory, Morfis earned $6,336.


Williams wins co-angler title
(Apr 20, 2015 - WHITTINGTON, IL.) Jodie Lanter of Carlyle, Illinois, weighed four bass totaling 12 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Illini Division tournament of 2015 on Rend Lake. For his victory, Lanter earned $4,000.


Drusch wins co-angler title
(Apr 20, 2015 - CAMDEN, S.C.) Bryan Holmes of Blythewood, South Carolina, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 20 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday to win the third Walmart Bass Fishing League South Carolina Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Wateree. For his victory, Holmes earned $3,296.


Seese wins co-angler title
(Apr 20, 2015 - Hixson, TN) Burton Bryan of Sevierville, Tennessee, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 15 pounds, 9 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Volunteer Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Chickamauga. For his victory, Bryan earned $4,046.


Adrian College and Northern Kentucky in Second and Third Respectively
(Apr 19, 2015 - San Antonio, Texas) The Collegiate Bass Fishing Open is currently being led by the University of Kentucky with a total of 19.47lbs with Adrian College and Northern Kentucky University chasing close behind with a respective 18.09lbs and 16.88lbs.


(Apr 19, 2015 - ) Lake LBJ has been on an upswing recently, and that trend continued Saturday when 173 teams battled it out in the third Bass Champs Central Region event of 2015. When the final fish had been weighed, Matt Hill and Berry Mott had outslugged the competition and won the tournament with an impressive 27.36 pounds.

(Apr 18, 2015 - Grove, OK) Bradley Hallman of Norman, Oklahoma, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 22 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday to win the Rayovac FLW Series Central Division event on Grand Lake presented by Power-Pole with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 65 pounds, 15 ounces. For his victory, Hallman earned $40,000.


(Apr 18, 2015 - PRATTVILLE, AL) The final day of the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open presented by Allstate was the first not to be pelted by incessant rain. Although the weather was pleasant, the Alabama River’s rising water had the 12 anglers who made Saturday’s cut scrambling.

(Apr 18, 2015 - Minneapolis, MN) Walmart FLW Tour pro Van Soles of Haines City, Florida, informed FLW of his decision Friday to withdraw from the remaining four regular-season FLW Tour events in the 2015 season. Joe Gerard of Concordia, Kansas, a 12-year veteran of the Rayovac FLW Series, has agreed to replace Soles on Tour and will fish the remaining four events this season. The full tournament field will remain at 154.


(Apr 17, 2015 - PRATTVILLE, AL) The anglers competing on Day 2 of the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open presented by Allstate did more flip-flopping than the bass they were catching from the Alabama River.

(Apr 17, 2015 - ) The closest city to Devils River is Del Rio, Texas, which is about 25 miles. About because who knows where Devils River ends and Lake Amistad begins.  The River drains into the lake from the north in Texas, but Lake Amistad is on the border between Texas and Mexico. Devils River is appropriately named as it is difficult, unforgiving and attempts to control you.


(Apr 16, 2015 - Columbia, SC) The Liberty University team of Travis Rulle of Denver, North Carolina, and Caleb Eppler of Sachse, Texas, took the lead after day one of 2015 FLW College Fishing National Championship presented by the Lowrance Insight Genesis College Cup Thursday with five bass weighing 22 pounds, 2 ounces.


(Apr 16, 2015 - PRATTVILLE, AL) But woeful tales were legion on Thursday at the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open #2 presented by Allstate on the Alabama River.   Even anglers that caught heavy limits lamented that they lost big bass that would have allowed them to cull up in weight. This is due mainly to the notoriously hard fighting Coosa River spotted bass that teem in the Alabama River where the second of three 2015 Southern Opens is taking place this week.

(Apr 14, 2015 - Minneapolis, MN) The 2015 Walmart Bass Fishing League season will continue with six tournaments on Saturday, April 25. The Cowboy division will take on the Red River, the Hoosier division opens at Lake Monroe, the Mississippi division heads to Pickwick Lake, the Mountain division competes on Dale Hollow Lake, the Savannah River division will tackle Lake Hartwell, and the Shenandoah division stops at Kerr Lake.

The Madison Central High School team of Logan and Ethan Gabbard brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 18 pounds, 3 ounces to win the 2015 Kentucky State High School Fishing Championship on Lake Cumberland. The win earned the team the title of state champions and qualified the team to compete in a High School Fishing conference championship on Lake Lanier in September.

(Apr 14, 2015 - ANDERSON, S.C.) Brock Taylor of Pendleton, South Carolina, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday to win the third Walmart Bass Fishing League Savannah River Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Hartwell. For his victory, Taylor earned $4,830.

(Apr 15, 2015 - Minneapolis, MN) FLW, the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization, has announced Rayovac®, a division of Spectrum Brands featured by FLW since 2012, has signed a sponsorship agreement and will remain a partner of the organization, including title sponsorship of the Rayovac FLW Series. Terms of the agreement were not released.

(Apr 14, 2015 - Alexander City, AL.) David Lowery of Phenix City, Alabama, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 14 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Bama Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Martin. For his victory, Lowery earned $4,385.


Dill wins co-angler title
(Apr 14, 2015 - OSAGE BEACH, MO.) Brian Hansen of Fenton, Missouri, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 18 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Ozark Division tournament of 2015 on Lake of the Ozarks. For his victory, Hansen earned $4,507.

Montgomery wins co-angler title
(Apr 14, 2015 - GILBERTSVILLE, Ky.) 15 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League LBL Division tournament of 2015 on Kentucky and Barkley lakes. For his victory, White earned $5,014.


Rhoades wins co-angler title
(Apr 14, 2015 - Russellville, AR) Shawn Gordon of Russellville, Arkansas, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win the third Walmart Bass Fishing League Arkie Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Dardanelle. For his victory, Gordon earned $7,244.


Reese wins co-angler title
(Apr 14, 2015 - HENDERSON, N.C.) Rick Chenoweth of Fredericksburg, Virginia, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Piedmont Division tournament of 2015 on Kerr Lake. For his victory, Chenoweth earned $5,241.


(Apr 14, 2015 - Lake Ray Roberts, TX) When you know a lake as well as teammates Zach Parker and Heath Moody know Lake Ray Roberts, you expect to find big fish when the Bass Champs North Region Tournament comes to town. And find big fish they did, with the pair catching a 5-bass limit for 27.11 pounds to beat out 275 other teams and a earn first place check for $20,000.

(Apr 11, 2015 - KIMBERLING CITY, MO.) The University of Evansville team of Nick Uebelhor and Lee Knies, both of Jasper, Indiana, won the FLW College Fishing Central Conference event on Table Rock Lake Saturday with five bass weighing 16 pounds, 2 ounces. The victory earned the club $2,000 and advanced the team to the FLW College Fishing Central Conference Championship tournament.


Wilson wins co-angler title  
(Apr 11, 2015 - Brookeland, TX) 0 ounces Saturday to win the Rayovac FLW Series Texas Division event on Sam Rayburn Reservoir presented by Mercury with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 60 pounds, 8 ounces. For his win Hanselman earned $35,815, pushing his season winnings to more than $69,000 from just two tournaments.
