Toledo Bend Report
The lake is 170.67 ft msl up almost two foot in the last couple weeks, Both generators are running 24/7. Water clarity on the north end of the lake is muddy to very stained and clearing as you go south. Water temp is running in the low to mid 50s and expected to continue falling with the recent cold weather.
The weather continues to play havoc with our fishing. High Winds have made fishing the main lake virtually impossible restricting our fishing to the creeks and coves. The muddy water and strong current have also slowed the fishing down and scattered the fish. The few reports that have come in indicate the bite has been very slow across the board. The few fish that have been coming in have been caught in 8 to 12ft of water along creek channels in the coves. Hopefully the falling water temperatures will start bunching the fish up in deeper water. Note: I haven’t posted a report over the last couple weeks because there hasn’t been much to report.
