Anglers Quest 2012 Livingston Saturday Series #8 out of Kickapoo Bait & Tackle in Onalaska, Tx began this event with 60 teamed anglers showing up to fish for the $3910.00 purse. Any team entering 6 of the 8 of Livingston Saturday Series events automatically qualified for the 2-day Livingston Championship. The top team in points after all 8 events was declared the Team Anglers of the Year and will be awarded free entries to all 2013 Livingston Saturday Series events. The teams entering all 8 Livingston Saturday series events automatically qualified for all 3 of the Lake Series 2-day Championships. Any team qualifying for any A/Q Championship will be allowed to enter the "Tournament of Champions" on October 20-21 at Lake Falcon.

All A/Q Saturday Series events were trailoring events, this event started at 6:15 am. Livingston water was in good shape at 1/2 ft below normal pool level with water temps ranning 84-86 degrees. The weather at takeoff was a calm 78 degrees with a warming to 97 degrees by weigh in time. The fish catching was real good on Livingston today as there were 18 limits brought to the scales, for a total of 99 bass at 240.46 lbs making the average bass brought to the scales today weigh 2.42 lb.

The team of Chris DiBerardino from Huffman, Tx & Kary Essl from Crosby, Tx ran Chris's Triton/Mercury bass rig to the Kickapoo Creek area to catch their bass throwing Tx-rigs and spinner baits in 1-3 ft of water. They managed to catch & cull several keepers to finish with 17.34 lbs. They tied for Big Bass honors with a 6.30 lber. This win & BB split made them $1575.00 for their day on the water. Chris had also bought a pair of Solar Bat sunglasses and collected back $80.99 on the So;ar Bat Incentive Bonus.

The team of Bob & Travis Signorin from Oakhurst, Tx ran their Phoenix/Yamaha to undisclosed creek areas to catch their bass throwing Tx-rigs & jigs in 1-5 ft of water. They managed to catch & cull several keepers to finish with 17.14 lbs. They also had a 6.30 lb BB. This 2nd place & BB tie made them $825.00 for their day on the water.

The team of Brian & Chip Sewell from Coldspring, Tx ran their bass rig to the south lake creek areas to catch their bass throwing Tx-rigs, jigs and spinner baits in 1-5 ft of water. They managed to catch & cull several keepers to finish with 13.87 lbs. This 3rd place made them $600.00 for their day on the water. The team of Jason Stovall from Conroe, Tx & Donnie Luker from Cleveland, Tx ran their bass rig to Kickapoo creek areas to finish in 4th with 13.59 lbs and collected $400.00 for their day on the water.

The team of Mark Johnson from Onalaska, Tx & Joey Matthews from Crosby, Tx ran their bass rig to Kickapoo Creek areas to finish in 5th with 12.96 lbs and collected $200.00 for his day on the water.

The team of Tommy Shugart & Curtis Jordan ran Tommy's bass rig to several north lake creeks to catch their bass throwing Tx-rigs & jigs in 1-5 ft of water. They managed to catch and cull to 5 keepers to finish in 6th with 12.70 lbs. This made them $160.00 for their day on the water. The team of Billy Jordan & Roger Dousay took 1st place out of the money with 12.41 lbs and won the 2 $15.00 Buster McNuttys gift cards and the 2 Martel's Welding Works $25.00 off Gift Certificates towards the purchase of a Rhino Bed Liner.
