2012 FOM Stren Team Series Lake Erie East Regional Championship
(Sep. 23, 2012 - Erie, PA) The 2012 Stren Team Series East Regional Championship came to an exciting close today, as Tom Belinda and Daniel Peterman, Pennsylvania Central, hauled in an additional 20.83 lbs, to give them 41.83 lbs and the victory.


(Sep. 23, 2012 - DECATUR, IL.) This one had it all - long runs, risky strategies, run-and-gun fishing and a dramatic save of a stranded competitor. In the end, Alabama's Aaron Martens edged out Oklahoma's Edwin Evers to win the 2012 Toyota Trucks All-Star championship.

(Sep. 23, 2012 - DECATUR, AL.) National Guard pro Mark Rose again brought the largest stringer to the scales Sunday - for the third time in four days - to win the Walmart FLW Tour Open on Wheeler Lake presented by Ranger Boats. Rose weighed in a five-bass limit worth 16 pounds, 14 ounces to win the $125,000 prize after leading wire-to-wire, besting the bass-fishing pros from all across the United States.


Missouri's Loeffelman Jr. Wins Co-Angler Title, $20,000
(Sep. 22, 2012 - DECATUR, AL.) National Guard pro Mark Rose slipped a bit and only weighed in the second-biggest stringer of the day at the Walmart FLW Tour Open on Wheeler Lake presented by Ranger Boats. It was still enough to increase his lead to a near-insurmountable 7 pounds, 1 ounce heading into the fourth and final day.


(Sep. 22, 2012 - DECATUR, IL.) Ten superstar bass anglers have been eliminated, but one more must go before the 2012 Toyota Trucks All-Star Week champion is crowned. Last year's All-Star runner-up Edwin Evers and 2005 Bassmaster Angler of the Year Aaron Martens advanced to the fourth and final round of the Evan Williams Bourbon All-Star championship on Lake Decatur.

(Sep. 21, 2012 - NORTHEAST, MD.) Bryant Copley of Virginia won the overall 2012 Cabela's Bassmaster Federation Nation Mid-Atlantic Divisional this afternoon in a come-from-behind performance. He brought in 21 pounds, 2 ounces today to make his total weight 52-4. He edged out two-day leader Robby Fleshman of West Virginia by a single ounce.

Underneath sunny bluebird skies with 80-degree temperatures, FLW anglers continued targeting bass at a variety of depths with a variety of baits and techniques.

Multiple styles, patterns and presentations were used as pros from all across the United States began the four-day tournament fishing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

(Sep. 20, 2012 - NORTHEAST, Md.) The individual competition was fairly close as the weigh-in moved along in the 2012 Cabela's Bassmaster Federation Nation Mid-Atlantic Divisional this afternoon. A dozen anglers were in the 12-, 13- and 14-pound range with Kevin Waterman from Maryland claiming first place with 15 pounds, 14 ounces of dark green bass. And then Robby Fleshman from West Virginia stepped up to the scales.

(Sep. 18, 2012 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Santos Solis of Vero Beach, Fla., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 47 pounds, 15 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Bama Division super tournament on Lake Okeechobee in Okeechobee, Fla., on Sunday. For his victory, Solis earned $6,743.

(Sep. 18, 2012 - TRENTON, MI.) Mark Modrak of China Township, Mich., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 44 pounds, 12 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Michigan Division super tournament on the Detroit River in Trenton, Mich., on Sunday. For his victory, Modrak earned $7,604.


Warrick wins co-angler title
(Sep. 18, 2012 - LAKEVIEW, Ohio) Craig Mills of Hamilton, Ohio, weighed a two-day total of nine bass totaling 17 pounds, 7 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Buckeye Division super tournament on Indian Lake in Lakeview, Ohio, on Sunday. For his victory, Mills earned $7,270.


Antipenko wins co-angler title
(Sep. 18, 2012 - PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.) Jamie Hartman of Newport, N.Y., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 37 pounds, 4 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Northeast Division super tournament on Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Sunday. For his victory, Hartman earned $7,806.

(Sep. 18, 2012 - GUNTERSVILLE, AL.) Bryan Gregory of Fort Payne, Ala., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 41 pounds, 14 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Choo Choo Division super tournament on Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Ala., on Sunday. For his victory, Gregory earned $5,329.

(Sep. 17, 2012 - Lake Livingston, Onalaska, Tx) Anglers Quest 2012 Livingston Saturday Series Championship is now in the books, and the Saturday Series for Lake Livingston is complete for 2012. The event began on Friday evening with dinner & drinks at Buster McNutty's with the presentation of the special "Anglers of the Year Goal Post" to the "same ole" "Anglers of the Year", Larry Jenkins & Dale Hill, they will receive free paid entries to all A/Q Livingston Saturday Series Events in 2013.


(Sep. 17, 2012 - Lewisville, TX) Skeeter Bass Champs anglers headed to Lake Lewisville September 14-15, 2012 to wrap up the North Region Championship. A Skeeter Zx20 powered by a Yamaha 225SHO was on the line for the number one team with the most weight over the course of two days. Terry Peacock and Tim Cline stayed on top of the pack both days to win with over 33 pounds.

Howard wins co-angler title
(Sep. 15, 2012 - OSAGE BEACH, MO.) Dennis Berhorst of Holts Summit, Mo., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 14 pounds, 9 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Central Division event on Lake of the Ozarks with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 47 pounds, 8 ounces. For his victory, Berhorst earned $25,578 and a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard motor.


Prince George High School wins High School Northern Conference Championship
(Sep. 15, 2012 - MARTINSVILLE, VA.) The Fairmont State University team of Wil Dieffenbauch of Hundred, W. Va., and Ryan Radcliff of Parkersburg, W.Va., won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Northern Conference Championship presented by Mercury on Philpott Lake Saturday with a five-bass limit weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

In fact, it was even a little tougher than yesterday. Only two limits were brought in today, compared to four yesterday, and the quantity and quality were down overall as well.

(Sep. 12, 2012 - MEDFORD, Maine) It was devastating to Mickey Soler to lose a 5-pounder earlier this morning during the first day of the 2012 Cabela's Bassmaster Federation Nation Eastern Divisional. But as it turned out, he didn't need it to take the Day 1 lead, which he owns by 2 pounds, 11 ounces.

Bill Lowen of Brookville, Ind., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 18 pounds, 9 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division super tournament on the Ohio River at Tanners Creek in Lawrenceburg on Sunday. For his victory, Haynes earned $4,869.


Boyce wins co-angler title
(Sep. 11, 2012 - HENDERSON, N.C.) Larry Inman of Greensboro, N.C., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 29 pounds, 13 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Piedmont Division super tournament on Kerr Lake in Henderson on Sunday. For his victory, Inman earned $5,821.


Rush wins co-angler title
(Sep. 11, 2012 - SHELBYVILLE, IL.) Michael Black of Toledo, Ill., weighed a two-day total of seven bass totaling 17 pounds even to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Illini Division super tournament on Lake Shelbyville in Shelbyville on Sunday. For his victory, Black earned $5,821.


(Sep. 11, 2012 - KEY WEST, Florida Keys) Frank Delucas released six tarpon, five permit and a bonefish to win the grand champion angler title at the Robert James Sales S.L.A.M. Celebrity Tournament that ended Sunday, Sept. 9. Delucas, who lives in Plantation, Fla., also was recognized for catching and releasing the most permit. In addition, he was named top rod angler on the first of the S.L.A.M.?s two fishing days after scoring a ?slam? for releasing one of each target species.

(Sep. 11, 2012 - ROCKWOOD, TN.) Jonathan Bowling of Harriman, Tenn., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 28 pounds, 11 ounces to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Volunteer Division super tournament on Watts Bar Lake in Rockwood on Sunday. For his victory, Bowling earned $4,540.

(Sep. 11, 2012 - FLORENCE, AL.) Randy Haynes of Counce, Tenn., weighed a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 40 pounds even to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Bama Division super tournament on Pickwick Lake in Florence on Sunday. For his victory, Haynes earned $5,446.

         The Purdue University team of Nicholas Schuetz of Loogootee, Ind., and Elliott Myers of Anderson, Ind., won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Central Conference Championship on Carlyle Lake Saturday with a five-bass limit that weighed 11 pounds, 6 ounces.   


(Sep. 08, 2012 - Gadsden, AL.) Two of Gadsden, Alabama's finest anglers Andrew Johnson and Jake Dixon bested the rest of the field in today's Lady Bass Anglers Association (LBAA) Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Alabama to claim the $1,000 cash first place prize. Johnson and Dixon caught a limit of five bass weighing 13.21 pounds from the waters of Lake Neely Henry to capture today's victory.


Reese claims co-angler title
(Sep. 08, 2012 - MARBURY, Md.) John Hutchins of Warrenton, Va., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 11 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to lead wire-to-wire and win the EverStart Series Northern Division event on the Potomac River with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 46 pounds, 12 ounces. For his victory, Hutchins earned $31,695.

With all the challenges facing anglers at the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open on Fort Gibson Lake, it only seems logical that an Oklahoman would take the top prize. Jason Christie of Park Hill did just that, posting the second heaviest catch of the tournament in the final round to edge out Arkansas Elite Series pro Kevin Short by almost 2 pounds.

(Sep. 07, 2012 - Gadsden, AL.) Ft. Worth, Texas pro Cheryl Bowden adapted to the changing conditions on Alabama's Lake Neely Henry to capture her first Lady Bass Anglers Association (LBAA) tour victory today as she brought 21.90-pounds to the scales in the two-day LBAA event here.

Texas' Scott Dean made the switch today at Fort Gibson Lake in the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open on Fort Gibson Lake. His five bass limit weighing 13 pounds, 11 ounces gives him 29-6 for two days, enough to pass Day 1 leader, Kevin Short (who slipped to third with 27-3), and take the lead.
