(Feb. 09, 2009 - Lake Hamilton, AR.)... Danny Waldo and Nick Ruffin topped 45 teams fishing the first Super Team tournament of 2009 by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales at 10.38 pounds. As usual at Hamilton, this tournament was a limit fest with twenty-two 5 bass limits brought to the scales. The next Super Team event will be March 1st at Lake Ouachita. Danny and Nick focused on the middle section of the lake, where they threw jerkbaits (Megabass 110; custom painted) around brushpiles to catch their fish. Their sack also included the day’s big bass, a 4.18 pounder, which earned them an additional $500.00

Duke and Brandon started their day throwing Carolina-rigged soft plastics on a road bed, which produced 3 keepers. Mid-morning they started fishing spinnerbaits in the backs of pockets, which also produced several keepers. They went back to the c-rig in the afternoon, which again produced several keepers. They caught 15 or 16 keepers on the day.
