Lake Texoma proved stingy with her big bass and, except for those caught by Dan, the ladies were more successful than the men in catching the heavier fish.

Second Place with four fish went to Jesse and Kathy Timmons. Their stringer contained one nice smallmouth weighing just under two pounds caught on a crankbait by Kathy. The others were caught by Jesse on spinnerbait and a fluke.

Third Place went Kyle and Ann Johnson. Ann caught their fish on grubs.

Ladies’ Big Bass went to Catt Marshall with a nice 2.52 pound largemouth she said she caught on a jig.

The side pot was split between the teams of Jezek and Johnson.

Congratulations to today’s winners! Thank you to all the teams that participated at the North Region’s Open Tournament and for making it a success. With their paid membership for 2010, all those that participated in this event will have 25 bonus points will be added toward qualifying for the 2010 Championship to be held at Lake Brownwood October 8 - 10.

We are looking forward to the 2010 season. While the schedule is always subject to change due to lake conditions, mark the following dates to join us in 2010.
