| (Jul. 28, 2009 - Lake Bob Sandlin, TX)... We had a hot time on Bob Sandlin. The temperatures were a little better on Sunday than in prefishing- but it was still a scorcher by noon time. Everyone said the fish were biting but it seemed to be the short fish that were caught. Greg Fleming brought in a nice 5.21 pounder for men’s big bass to anchor his 16.88 stringer. This heavy stringer kept Greg and Julie in the AOY spot for next year. David and Katy came in second with 11.91 pounds and gave the Fleming’s a run for the money. It has been a tight race and a friendly competition between these two couples all year. Congratulations to both teams. Deborah C- Wilson had ladies big bass of 3.25 to gain the number 3 spot with her hubby Jerry. They had 11.39 pounds. We had a total of 11 teams fish this month and broughtin 47 fish weighing 95.01 pounds . We had a great time aftwards with food and fellowship. Congrats to all our couples who have qualified to go to Lake Lewisville. We will see you in October. We have enjoyed our couples so much- we have gotten to know some couples we have previously fished against and meet lots of new folks on the way. We hope to see as many teams as possible in October.
