| (May. 22, 2009 - Hubbard Creek Lake, TX)... Well what a day it was on Hubbard Creek. We awoke to pouring down rain and lightening. We did not get started until about 8:00 am. It rained most of the day and was pretty miserable. Did not hamper some of the couples - first place was Roy and Teresa Smith with 12.12 lbs. Second place was Danny and Brenda Armstrong with 11.72 lbs. Brenda had ladies big bass at 4:15 lbs. Way to go Brenda. Third plase was Jerry and Denise McDonald with 11.61 lbs and Jerry had men’s big bass at 5.33 lbs. Good looking fish! We will fish at Oak Creek next month due to Lake Proctor being so low. Please let everyone know about the change in lake. Hope to see everyone there. Should be a great tournament. Ron McKnight had quadruple bypass surgery two weeks ago.He is home now and doing well. We wish him a quick recovery and want them to get back to fishing with us. Get Well Ron! Hope to see everyone June 13th at Oak Creek.Be careful in your travels and good fishing!
