| (Oct. 13, 2008 - Lake Limestone, TX)... Seventy-seven teams showed up at Lake Limestone to fish the second qualifier for the TuffMan Tournament Trail. The fishermen weighed in 206 bass for a total weight of 489.74 pounds. This gave an average weight of 2.38 pounds with only eighteen teams zeroing. Only one fish was lost at weigh-in with all other bass being released back into the lake.  This 9th Annual TuffMan Tournament Trail is sponsored by Marine Outlet of Temple, Gary’s Marine of Gatesville, and Texas Boat World of Harker Heights. Other sponsors include FishingWorld.com and Continental Batteries. Contingency money is offered by Triton Boats, Legend Boats, Ranger Boats, Champion Boats, Line-X of Harker Heights and PowerTackle rods.  The next tournament is scheduled for November the 15th on Lake Belton. Tournament headquarters will be Temple Lake Park Pavilion. For more information contact Rick Smith of Marine Outlet at rick@marineoutlet.com or 1/254/773-9931. |
