(Oct. 30, 2009 - Montellico, IN.)... Tippecanoe Valley Anglers kicked off the 2010 season on Lake Shafer at Monticello, In. Ten anglers showed up before daylight at Big Monon ramp to try and get a leg up on the points race for next years classic.
Congratulations to Kyle Need of Monticello on the win, and bringing in one of the largest Bass caught on Shafer. Kyle had 4 Bass weighing 13.03 with a 6.46 kicker. In second, was Kevin Hysong of Lafayette, In. with a nice limit weighing 11.75. In third, was Fuzzy Dunn of Crown Point, In., with 4 fish weighing 7.41. In fourth, was our newest member, C. Adam Yeagley with 2 fish weighing 5.01. Rounding out the top 5 was, Jeff Vandergraff of Monon, In. with 3 fish weighing 4.98.
