(Jun. 19, 2009 - Lake Freeman, IN)... 15 anglers arrived before daylight to fish the fourth event of the 2009 TVA season. In spite of a large open on neighboring Lake Shafer, the turnout was good. Lake Freeman has been good in past late spring events, and today was no exception.
Congratulations to Bill Kelly of Monticello, In. with a big limit weighing 14.03 with a beautiful Smallmouth weighing 4.53. In second was Fuzzy Dunn of Crown Point, In. with 4 fish weighing 9.02.
In third was Jeff Vandergraff of Monon, In. with 4 fish weighing 8.59. In fourth was Joe Castello of Lafayette, In. with 4 fish weighing 6.97. Rounding out the top 5 was Tim Rodenbarger of Delphi, In. with 3 fish at 6.56.
With the points race heating up the next TVA event will be at Lake Shafer on July,25 at Big Monon
