(Nov. 20, 2008 - Lake Shafer, IN)... Lake Shafer was the site of the second TVA series fall opener for 2009. Fall means heavy bags and big Smallmouth and this event was no exception. Congratulations to Dave Coffing who brought in a limit of Smallies weighing 14.81 lbs with a 4.13 lb. Big Bass. In second was Bud Smart with another fine bag of Smallies weighing in at 14.51. In third was Bill Kelly with a big limit of Smallies and Largemouth weighing in at 14.43 lbs. In fourth was Fuzzy Dunn with a good limit weighing in at 9.42 lbs.
Thanks to the 18 anglers that came out to fish. This will be the final TVA event for the 2008 year. The new schedule will be posted at the TVA website hosted by Fishingworld. All TVA members must have an FLW membership to fish the 2009 schedule. See you in the spring.
