(Apr. 26, 2008 - Geist Reservoir, IN)... After a week of warm weather the TVA circuit headed for the Indy area to Geist Reservoir for the fifth event of 2008. Geist Reservoir has a reputation for big fish and heavy bags in the spring but it proved to be a little tougher this time. The mild cold front and rain combined with four other tournaments made things a challenge.
In the end Dave Coffing prevailed with 4 fish weighing 7.50 for the win, congrats to Dave. In second was Bud Smart with with in his words, 2 little bitty ones that went 6.66 including the Big Bass that went 4.28.
Good job Bud. In third was Cory Lorts with 1 fish that went 3.85.
Thanks to the anglers that came out to fish . Our next event will be on L. Freeman on May 10. This should be a challenge after the drawdown to clean flood debris.
