(Mar. 24, 2008 - Lake Shafer, IN)... Eight anglers came out to brave the weather on flood ravaged Lake Shafer for the first event of 2008. As the anglers idled out of the the Big Monon ramp the snow began to fall. With in the hour the wind picked up and the snow covered the decks.When the snow cleared it was Fuzzy Dunn leading the pack with a beautiful bag of Smallies weighing 17.72. In second was Brendan Fitzgerald,also with a limit of brownies weighing 9.13.
Congratulations to Paul Kopla with a monster smallmouth weighing 4.25. We want to welcome him back after his 2007 season was cut short due to hip surgery.The next TVA series eventwill be at Mississenwa Reservoir on April 12.
