TVA Tournament Series Membership

As a member of the Tippecanoe Valley Anglers you will be eligible to fish in the T.V.A. Tournament Series events held throughout the year. All series tournaments are a draw format events welcoming BOATERS, NON-BOATERS, professional and amateur members.

If you enter a tournament as a boater you are guaranteed to fish out of your boat as long as your boat complies with the tournament rules 3, 6,and 7. If you enter as a non-boater you will be paired with a boater for a great day on the water.

Chapter membership dues are $35 per person. Starting January 1 and expiring on December 31 the same year. (NO CHECKS) You also need to be a member in good standing with TBF/FLW. We will have TBF/FLW membership forms available at tournaments.

The Tippecanoe Valley Anglers membership dues breakdown as follows:

• $15...For National B.A.S.S. Federation roster fee.
• $10...For Indiana TBF/FLW roster fee.
• $10...For the TVA CHAMPIONSHIP FUND.

(YOU MUST PRESENT YOUR THE BASS FEDERATION/FLW CARD)

Your membership dues will provide subscriptions to B.A.S.S. Times, Indiana BASS Newsmagazine, as well as the TVA Tournament Newsletter via e-mail or at the tournaments. You will also receive all the benefits from belonging to a B.A.S.S. sanctioned chapter.

TVA Bass Championship
The TVA Bass Championship is a two day no-entry fee championship.
Paying out to the Top-10 anglers in order of finish at that event.

How to qualify for the TVA Bass Championship

TVA Tournament Series Events
T.V.A. will host nine ( 9 ) series qualifying tournaments. Starting in the Fall the preceding year.

Only your best seven ( 7 ) finishes will count towards The TVA Bass Championship and TVA Series Angler of the Year--Points Champion. Qualifying tournaments are worth a maximum of 100 points. Points will be awarded in 1pt decreasing increments depending on place of finish.

No contestant weighing in a fish will receive less than 51 pts. All anglers not weighing in a fish will receive 50 show points.

In order to qualify, and fish in The TVA Bass Championship you must have accumulated a minimum of 350 points, and fished a minimum of five (5) tournaments.

Angler of the year plaques will be awarded to the Top-10 anglers in the point standings, and the 1st place angler in the point standings after nine qualifiying ( 9 ) tournaments will win the Angler of the Year title and plaque.
