Reel um N Guide Service By Lynn Atkinson
01/06/08 Sam Rayburn is at 159.01. The water temperature has been in the mid 50s with a few pockets getting close to 58. It is starting to clear up with visibility to a depth of 3 feet in some of the pockets.
Just to let everyone know there is a free guide trip that is going to be given away 1/15/08. All you have to do is sign up for it on my site. Look for the discount page and sign up for the trip. I'll be looking at ways to do the drawing so if you have any ideas let me know. For now it looks like I'll post the first part of the email address for two hours on the 15th and the winner will have to contact me by email/ If it's not claimed in the two hrs I'll put the name back in the hat and post a new name the next day. Same rules. The address are not given to anyone .
Now for a quick fishing report. Monday we had a tough day with the wind keeping us from going to far. We managed to catch a few nice keepers. The young lady here thought she was hung up in brush. All of a sudden the hang up broke loose and made a jump out of the water then headed for cover. Lucky for her it came up short . With a "No I'm not going to hold the fish" we got a few pictures then back in the water he went. Wednesday was a lot better with the fish showing that they have started to turn on some as the water is warming up. I look for some good fish to be caught in the next few days .
