(Mar. 01, 2009 - Pearl River, MS)... We had a great turnout to start the 2009 season off for the PRSC. It was warm to start the day offwitha cold front approaching. Twent-five anglers took part with high hopes of cashing a nice check after weigh-in.
Matt McCabe took home top honors with a very nice stringer of bass that pushed the scales over 13lbs 9 ozs. Second place went to Mark Mohr with11lbs 11ozs.RandallChilds finishedthird with 11lbs 3ozs.LarryMixonwould have hadforth place with 11lbs2ozs BUT somehow whenLarry made it back to the scalesthere was 6 fish inthe livewell instead of 5. Larrymade the call todisqualify himself although he had someof the best looking spotted bass i have seen in quite sometime. This left the door open for JoelLee to move intoforth place with 10lbs12oz. Big bass honors went to Scott Burt with a4lbs 13oz lunker.
Our next tournament will be March 14th!!! |
