(Feb. 12, 2014 - Alexandria, VA)...

Last week the House of Representatives showed true bipartisanship when they passed the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act, we thank those of you who sent messages supporting this bill. We ask that now the spirit of bipartisanship be activated in the Senate, please urge your Senators to support and cosponsor the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act of 2014.?

Request that your Senators cosponsor the bill and make this a stronger bipartisan effort.?

Sens. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) introduced the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act of 2014 (S. 1996). The bill supports increased access for recreational opportunities across the nation as well as the protection of our fishing and shooting heritage. The original Sportsmen’s Act’s co-sponsors span across the aisle, they were Sens. Mark Begich (D-Alaska), John Boozman (R-Ark.), Dean Heller (R-Nev.), John Hoeven (R-N.D.), Mary Landrieu (D-La.), Joe Manchin (D-W.V.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and David Vitter (R-La.).?

Please ask your Senators to show the spirit of bipartisanship and cosponsor the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act of 2014.
