(Sep 28, 2016 - OSAGE BEACH, Mo.) The Costa FLW Series is headed to Lake of the Ozarks Oct. 6 to 8 for a tournament presented by Evinrude when as many as 400 pros and co-anglers will take to the water for the third and final stop of 2016 in the Central Division.

(Sep 28, 2016 - Monroe, LA) FLW College Fishing is headed to the Ouachita River Oct. 8 for the third and final regular-season bass-fishing tournament in the Southern Conference. A full field of college teams will be competing for a top award of $2,000 and a berth into the 2017 College Fishing National Championship.

The Waunakee High School duo of Colin Steck and Nathan Lorenz from Waunakee, Wisconsin, brought four bass to the scale Saturday weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces, to win the 2016 TBF/FLW High School Fishing Central Conference Championship tournament on the Ohio River in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.


(Sep 28, 2016 - Minneapolis, MN) FLW announced Wednesday the schedule, rules and payouts for the 2017 Bass Fishing League, which includes 128 tournaments in 24 divisions offering nearly $8 million in awards, including as much as $120,000 to the winning boater and $60,000 to the winning co-angler in the nationally-televised BFL All-American, plus advancement to the Forrest Wood Cup for a shot at winning the world championship of bass fishing.

(Sep 28, 2016 - Minneapolis, MN) FLW announced Monday its rules and entry dates for the 2017 Walmart FLW Tour. The season will consist of a 160-boat field competing in seven-regular season events and culminating with the 2017 Forrest Wood Cup, the world championship of bass fishing, to be held on Lake Murray in Columbia, South Carolina.

(Sep 27, 2016 - HENDERSON, N.C.) The FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) is headed to Kerr Lake Oct. 6-8 for the second of six BFL regional championships. The three-day tournament, which is presented by Evinrude, will feature the top 50 boaters and 50 co-anglers from each of the Northeast, Savannah River, Shenandoah and Volunteer divisions.


(Sep 27, 2016 - ) The 40-year-old rule that has limited Bassmaster tournament competitors to rods that were 8 feet or shorter will be changed for 2017, allowing competitors to use rods as long as 10 feet.

Tom Rubbo of Lexington, South Carolina, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 13 pounds, 6 ounces, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) South Carolina Division Super Tournament on Lake Wylie, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 24 pounds, 14 ounces. Rubbo pocketed $4,531 for his win.

(Sep 27, 2016 - Minneapolis, MN) FLW announced Tuesday the Costa FLW Series rules, entry fees and payouts for the 2017 season. The season will again consist of three events in each of the five divisions – Central, Northern, Southeastern, Southwestern and Western – along with the no-entry-fee Costa FLW Series Championship to be held on Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee. 



Hill wins co-angler title
(Sep 27, 2016 - GUNTERSVILLE, AL.) Local angler Gil Summerlin of Guntersville, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 4 ounces, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Choo Choo Division Super Tournament on Lake Guntersville, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 38 pounds, 14 ounces. For his victory, Summerlin earned $8,234.


Delgado wins co-angler title

() Ed Young of Harrison, Arkansas, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 20 pounds, 12 ounces, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Ozark Division Super Tournament on Lake of the Ozarks presented by Minn Kota, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 37 pounds, 13 ounces. For his victory, Young earned $6,586.


Ashley wins co-angler title
(Sep 27, 2016 - CLAYTON, N.Y.) Tom Tarasoff of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 1 ounce, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Northeast Division Super Tournament on 1000 Islands, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 44 pounds, 4 ounces. Tarasoff took home $6,367 for his win.


(Sep 24, 2016 - Dayton, TN) The Bryan College duo of Connor Cohran of Dalton, Georgia, and Cole Sands, of Calhoun, Tennessee, won the FLW College Fishing Southeastern Conference event at Lake Chickamauga Saturday with five bass weighing 16 pounds, 3 ounces. The victory earned the club $2,000 and qualified the team for the 2017 FLW College Fishing National Championship.

King pocketed $8,349 for his victory.

Andy Burgess of Greenville, South Carolina, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 12 pounds, 14 ounces, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Savannah River Division Super Tournament on Lake Keowee, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 27 pounds, 3 ounces. For his win, Burgess took home $4,931.


Leno wins co-angler title
(Sep 19, 2016 - La Crosse , WI) Local angler Mike Brueggen of La Crosse, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 15 pounds, 5 ounces, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Great Lakes Division Super Tournament on the Mississippi River presented by Minn Kota, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 32 pounds, 6 ounces. For his win, Brueggen took home $8,011.

Michael Delvisco of Dandridge, Tennessee, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 11 pounds, 1 ounce, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Music City Division Super Tournament on Old Hickory Lake, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 28 pounds, 14 ounces. For his win, Delvisco took home $4,037.

(Sep 19, 2016 - Hixson, TN) FLW Tour pro Alex Davis of Albertville, Alabama, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 11 pounds, 10 ounces, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Volunteer Division Super Tournament on Lake Chickamauga, with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 28 pounds, 6 ounces. For his victory, Davis earned $8,006.


(Sep 19, 2016 - Lake Sam Rayburn, TX) With a $3,700 payout for just 8 teams,  Day 1, Everyone brought a limit to the scales........There were 40 total fish, weighing 132.48 lbs. Day 2 there were only 4 limits, with 28 total fish weighing 86.78 lbs.

Futch wins co-angler title

Stephen Barga of Benton, Kentucky, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 6 ounces, Sunday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) LBL Division Super Tournament on Kentucky and Barkley lakes with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 40 pounds, 2 ounces. For his win, Barga pocketed $7,717.
