(Apr 1, 2015 - MURRAY, Ky.) The Muhlenberg County High School team of Nathan Flener and Brandon Payne brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 18 pounds, 6 ounces, to win the 2015 Murray State Open on Kentucky Lake. The win earned the team $4,000 in scholarships to Murray State and qualified the team to compete in a High School Fishing conference championship on Lake Lanier in September.


Texas Team Trail Presented by Cabela's Wraps up Lake Ray Roberts Event
(Apr 1, 2015 - Norman, OK) Stephen Johnston, of Hemphill, Texas, and Dicky Newberry, of Houston, Texas, brought 25.03 pounds of bass to the scales to win the 2015 Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela's (TXTT) event at Lake Ray Roberts on March 28. The winning anglers took home a Ranger Z119C with a Mercury ProXS 225 and an additional $2,220 of Anglers Advantage money for a total prize package worth $47,220.

(Apr 1, 2015 - KIMBERLING CITY, MO.) FLW College Fishing is headed to Table Rock Lake April 11 for the first of three regular-season stops in the Central Conference. A full field of college teams will be competing for a top award of $2,000 and a berth in the Central Conference Championship tournament.

The Barbe High School team of Hunter Keller and Nick Nocilla brought a five-bass limit to the scale Sunday weighing 11 pounds, 7 ounces, to win the 2015 Louisiana State High School Fishing Championship on Sibley Lake. The win earned the team the title of state champions and qualified the team to compete in a High School Fishing conference championship on the Arkansas River in October.

(Mar 31, 2015 - MILLEDGEVILLE, GA.) David Millsaps of Ranger, Georgia, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 20 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Bulldog Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Sinclair.

(Mar 31, 2015 - MUSKOGEE, OK.) Brandon Mosley of Choctaw, Oklahoma, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 13 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Okie Division tournament of 2015 the Arkansas River.

(Mar 31, 2015 - LAKE WYLIE, N.C.) Todd Walters of Kernersville, North Carolina, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League North Carolina Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Wylie.  


(Mar 30, 2015 - Lake Amistad, TX) The battle on the border for bragging rights and more than $20,000 went to Lake Hills angler Scott Hutzler and Michael Bradley from San Antonio when they brought a 5-bass limit weighing 18.8 pounds to win the Bass Champs South Region on Lake Amistad Saturday.

(Mar 30, 2015 - Western Carolina University Earns College Series) Three patterns helped Western Carolina University prevail despite adverse weather conditions and a competitive field in the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Eastern Regional presented by Bass Pro Shops. Austin Neary and Alex Frazier targeted spawning fish while also fishing nearby docks and rocks with dropshots and jerkbaits to bring in a three-day total of 42 pounds, 6 ounces and take the Eastern Regional title.


(Mar 30, 2015 - JASPER, AL.) FLW Tour rookie Zack Birge of Blanchard, Oklahoma, caught a five-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday to extend his lead in a stacked top-20 field that included five former Angler of the Year winners and four Forrest Wood Cup champions.

Lake Norman showed out for the 2015 Carhartt Bassmaster College Eastern Regional presented by Bass Pro Shops and University of North Carolina-Charlotte shined brightest Thursday with 16 pounds, 12 ounces. Cole Blythe and John Auten lead after Day 1 but are well aware of change in the air as a nasty front looks to shut down the spawn.

FLW Tour pro angler Drew Benton of Panama City, Florida, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Thursday weighing 20 pounds, 12 ounces to jump to the top of the leaderboard at the Walmart FLW Tour at Lewis Smith Lake presented by Evinrude. Benton will begin day two with a slim 1-pound, 3-ounce lead in the four-day event, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Walker County, that features 154 of the best bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

(Mar 23, 2015 - HUDDLESTON, VA.) Dennis Middleton of Madison Heights, Virginia, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Shenandoah Division tournament of 2015 on Smith Mountain Lake. For his victory, Middleton earned $7,199.  


Trobaugh wins co-angler title
(Mar 23, 2015 - BYRDSTOWN, TN.) Robby Johnson of Byrdstown, Tennessee, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 22 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Mountain Division tournament of 2015 on Dale Hollow Lake. For his victory, Johnson earned $5,689.


Corley wins co-angler title
(Mar 23, 2015 - BRANDON, MS.) Jason Griffin of Benton, Mississippi, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 23 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Mississippi Division tournament of 2015 on Ross Barnett Reservoir. For his victory, Griffin earned $5,349.


(Mar 23, 2015 - Orange, TX) Making a final charge Sunday at the Bassmaster Elite tournament on the Sabine River, Cabela's/GEICO For Your Boat angler Mike McClelland brought in the day's biggest bass, a 4-pound, 2-ounce whopper that put his five-fish limit at 13 pounds, 1 ounce and his total tournament weight at an even 46 pounds. That amount was good enough for a stout second-place result overall.

(Mar 22, 2015 - Lake Houston, TX) Rain rain go away.......come back in July and August when it's HOT.......WOW !!!!! What a day on Lake Houston !!!! There were 29 Teams that came out to fish in the rain. And everybody caught fish !!! There were 25 limits caught out of the 29 boats, totaling 135 fish, 369.lbs., with a 2.73 lb average bass.

It started out a little foggy with a temp of 56 degrees warming up to close 70. There were 44 teams that showed up to fish for a total pot of $7,485.00. Rusty Harvey & David Concienne took first place bringing 5 fish to the scales that totaled 28.19 lbs. 


Rood Claims Top Prize with an 8.56lb Largemouth Bass
(Mar 18, 2015 - San Antonio, Texas) Just under 300 collegiate anglers gathered in Paris Landing Marina to compete in the 2015 Cabela's Collegiate Big Bass Bash Presented by Berkley, which was the largest field the event has seen since its creation. The field had their eyes set on over $25,000 in prizes that they could get a piece of with just one fish.

The pair bested 197 teams to take home more than $25,000.
