(Mar. 07, 2010 - Lake Livingston Onalaska, TX)... Anglers Quest 2010 Lake Livingston Individual Series #3 out of Kickapoo Bait & Tackle in Onalaska, TX began this event with 8 anglers showing up to fish for the $1080.00 purse. This 3rd event of 2010 was started at 6:15 am. The weigh in time was conducted at 3:15 pm. This Lake Livingston Individual Series after all 9 events will provide the Angler of the year with free entries to all 2011 Livingston Individual Series events. The anglers entering all 9 Livingston Individual series events will automatically qualify for the 2-day "Tournament of Champions" Championship on November 13-14 on Lake Palestine. A special highest point Top 10 group of anglers will qualify to go to the "Tournament of Champions" with a minimum of 6 events entered. Anglers Quest "Tournament of Champions" will Guarantee $35,000.00 to 1st-2nd & 3rd places.

Lake Livingston water was in decent shape and about 1/4 foot above normal pool level with water temps running 52-58 degrees. The weather at takeoff was a calm 46 degrees with a warming to 65 degrees by weigh in time. The fish catching continued to be pretty good today as there were 0 limits brought to the scales, for a total of 5 bass at 13.48 lbs making the average bass brought to the scales today weigh 2.69 lb.

David Filla from Baytown, Tx ran his Ranger/Mercurybass rig to the Triple creek area to catch his bass flipping Tx rigged plastic worms and throwing chartreuse chatter baits in 1-5 ft of water. David managed to catch 8 keepers and culled to his best 5 to finish in 1st place with 21.33 lbs. This made David $800.00 for his 1st place day on the water.

Chris DiBerardino from Huffman, Tx ran this BassCat/Mercury bass rig to Whiterock & Caney creek areas to finish in 2nd with his best 5 bass, caught using his American Rodsmiths Rods tipped with chartreuse chatter baits in 1-5 ft water around shoreline cover that tipped the scales at 17.86 lbs. One of Chris’s bass was the Big Bass of the day at 6.30 lbs to pay back $240.00 for his efforts.

Burl Avery from Onalaska, Tx finished in the 1st place out of the money with 13.90 lbs and received the Santone & ZZ Lures Gift Certificates.
