Yamaha pro Dustin Wilks
(Nov. 10, 2006 - Kennesaw, GA.,)... Muddy water is the exact opposite from fishing in clear water; so you want to let the fish have time to see your bait. Use bigger baits; slow them down, use brighter colors. If you’re fishing with slow moving bait you want to use darker colors, like black. Try faster moving baits, like crank baits, spinner baits, competitive fire tigers, and shark shrews, and blackback.
