1. RULE CHANGES: The following rules will remain unchanged throughout all events unless state or local laws are in conflict. The decision of the Tournament Committee will be final in all matters. It is at the directors discretion to make change(s) where safety is a concern.
2. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND DRUGS: At no time during tournament hours are any alcoholic beverages or drugs, other than those prescribed by a physician allowed in the boat or to be consumed during tournament hours.
3. SPORTSMANSHIP: All teams are expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation. Any team who displays poor sportsmanship, or violates these rules or state or local laws, or brings unfavorable publicity to the sport of bass fishing will be disqualified.
4. BOATS AND MOTORS: There are no horsepower limits, however, no engine may exceed the B.I.A. horsepower rating for the boat, and all boats must meet Federal and State Regulations. All boats must have an emergency "Kill Switch" and have it attached to the drivers life jacket which is to be worn anytime the outboard is
running. All boats must have a livewell large enough to sustain a tournament limit in releaseable condition.
5. SAFETY: Boating safety must be observed at all times. A U.S. Coast Guard approved chest type life jacket must be on, and securely fastened any time the combustible engine is in operation. A working "kill switch" must be attached to the drivers life jacket.
6. TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT: All fish must be caught in a legal and sporting manner. Intentional snagging of fish will not be allowed. No trolling is permitted. No live or prepared bait is permitted with the exception of pork rinds. Liquid fish attractants are allowed. Only one rod and reel may be used at a time, other rods may be in the boat for use, however, every cast and retrieve must be completed before another cast is made. Rods may not exceed eight (8) feet in length.
7. PROTESTS: All protests must be submitted in writing within 15
minutes of final weigh-in.
8. POLYGRAPH: All contestants, winners, and non-winners are
subject to a polygraph test. Failure to submit to a polygraph test will result in immediate disqualification. Any contestant who has failed a polygraph test in conjunction with any Bass Tournament may not be eligible to compete.
9. SCORING: Each team may weigh in five (5) fish with a minimum of 15" in length on Largemouths, 12" on Kentucky's when measured on a flat board ( Gator Grip Pro Series Board) with mouth closed and tail compressed. ONE (1) dead fish can be weighed, with a 1/2# (.5#) penalty. If more than (5) fish are in the livewell at any time, you will be disqualified. Tournament standings will be determined by total weight. Only largemouth, spotted, red-eye, or smallmouth bass will be scored. Any team weighing in a fish shorter than the legal tournament length will be assessed a one pound (1#) penalty plus, the loss of the short fish. Each team is required to leave from and return to the Alltel Ramp. Any team returning to the check point late will be disqualified.
10. POINTS: Points are awarded as one (1) point per pound weighed-in. Five (5) bonus points are awarded for team entries paid in person by a team member prior to 2:00 pm. on tournament Tuesday. Note: Any team not turning in their numbered paddle at weigh-in will also be penalized ten (10) points from their team total accumulated points. We must have all paddles turned in to know that all boats are safe, and off the water. PLEASE, Check-In so we may leave.
11. PERMITTED FISHING WATERS: All fishing must be done from a previously inspected boat. No tube or wade fishing is allowed. Boats may not be trailered to and from the weigh-in during tournament hours unless under the direction of the tournament director. No fishing is allowed within 50 yards of another anchored or tied tournament boat which has it's trolling motor out of the water. Both team members must fish out of the same boat. Only contestants may be in the boat during tournament hours. Having a non-contestant sit on a hole for you will not be tolerated. Only one (1) lock allowed, up or down, during tournament hours.
12. OFF LIMITS: Fishing is NOT permitted in any waters in the Alltel Ramp launch area, nor from the point downstream to the big Oak Tree upstream from the bridge. The Arkansas River is off limits the day of the tournament.
13. REGISTRATION: Registration will be held at Fish 'N Stuff prior to, and until 2:00 pm. on "tournament Tuesday", five (5) bonus points will be awarded each team registering in person prior to the deadline. Registration at the Alltel Ramp for late arrivals will be taken till 6:15 p.m. Cash Entry Fees Only, with no bonus points awarded. No entries will be taken after 6:15 pm. for that tournament. NOTE: All boats must launch from the Alltel Ramp in North Little Rock. All livewells must be checked prior to launching. Tournament dates are subject to river conditions, it is your responsibility to verify a tournament will be held if river conditions are in question.. If questionable, call Fish'N Stuff @ 834-5733.
14. CONSERVATION:Adequate livewells are mandatory on each boat and must provide adequate aeration to maintain fish in good condition as every effort will be made to release fish alive following the tournament.
15. TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING: The top 30 teams by final points are eligible to fish the year-end Championship Tournament. Each qualifying team must have fished at least 7 of the regular 10 tournaments to qualify for the championship. Wildcard Entry... the top 5 teams after the last tournament who have fished at least 7 of the 10 regular tournaments will also qualify as wildcards to fish the Championship Tournament.
