As we were moving into a pocket to try some topwater bassin' this Bull Alligator was stretched out on the bank and was either bellowing for a mate or challenging us for a fight- regardless of his reasons we backed off to let him have his space- you can see his throat expanding as it bellowed a grunterral sound that could only be that of what the dinosaurs must have sounded like- a low reverberating sound that put our "short-hairs" on end- (8X11 color print-$15.00)- e-mail requests to <edsnyder@jas.net>
