(Jul. 29, 2009 - Kaufman, TX)... On Saturday, June 6 the Dallas Bass ’n Gals were once again privileged to help out with the Kaufman Police Association Kids Fishing Tournament. This year they had a record number to register, with more than 70 kids participating.
The event is held each year at the Star Brand Ranch in Kaufman and once again the kids caught many, many fish. They could weigh in 3 total fish but many of them caught more than the 3 fish limit.
Trophies were given to the top three in each of several age groups. Prizes were then awarded to everyone who fished. After the trophies and awards were given out, everyone enjoyed lunch provided by the Police Association. These people do an outstanding job of putting this event on each year and our club is delighted to be asked to help!
