(May. 23, 2009 - Cedar Creek Lake, TX)... Mother Nature has not been kind to the Dallas Bass ’n Gals so far this year. For the third month in a row, we were faced with some rain - though, thankfully not much - and strong winds. But, we’re getting good at this so in spite of the adverse conditions, all of our members caught fish!
Congratulations to our newest member, Cindy Strong on taking First Place with a five fish limit (she actually caught 7 fish) for a total weight of 7.78 lbs.. Inge Kirby came in Second with 3 fish and a total weight of 6.87 lbs. Judy Muse was Third with 2 fish and a total weight of 4.02 lbs. Inge Kirby got Big Bass with a 3.39 lb. fish.
Others fishing were: Norma Ussery with 3 fish for 3.39 lbs., Pam Rodden with 2 fish for 2.56 lbs,. Patty Verver with 2 fish for 2.29 lbs., and Traci Smith with 1 fish for 1.01 lbs. Barbara Arrington (5 fish, 11.81 lbs.) and Dawn March (2 fish, 2.55 lbs.) unfortunately were disqualified because they were 15 minutes late to weigh in, as per our tournament rules.
We also had a guest fishing with us this month and we hope Ulrihe Mueller will become a permanent member. Uli’s home is Germany and she in the States for at least a year on a job assignment with her Dallas company. We are delighted that Uli found the Bass n Gals! |
