Donald Gregg II, our 1st Place winner brought in a limit weighing 27.34 lbs, which included the Big Bass of the event, a 10.21. He caught his hefty bag of fish on a little bit of everything in 4? to 10? of water. This earned him a total payday of $4,500. Our 2nd Place team, father and son, Chip and Brian Sewell weighed in their limit of fish, 21.66 lbs, claiming them a check for $2,000. They caught their fish on worms and jigs in 8? to 12? of water. They would like to thank their sponsors, American Rodsmiths and Big Bite Baits. The team of Jimmie Vann and Jim Fortenberry took 3rd place, their limit 19.87 lbs for $1,500. They caught their fish on crank baits and jigs in 4’ to 6’ of water. This nice bag of fish earned them the 1st highest finisher position for the Ranger Cup Award. This great bonus went to Jimmie Vann for $2,500. All and all their total pay $4,000. It really does pay to fish out of a Ranger Boat. 2nd highest finisher for the Ranger Cup Award went to Matt Ogrodowicz for $1,000. He finished 4th overall with four fish weighing 19.04 lbs for $1,100. His total pay $2,100. Wesley Burnett claimed the 3rd highest finisher for the Ranger Cup Award for $500. His limit weighing 15.36 lbs claimed 5th place overall for an additional $1,000. His total pay $1,500.
