(Oct. 12, 2009 - Kimberling City, MO.)... Day two brought cloudy skies and temps in the mid forties for the 19 couples fishing the championship at Table Rock Lake. Rising water conditions changed a lot of practice plans for the couples. They managed 11 /5 fish limits 90 total fish weighing 188.78 lbs.
First were Cliff and Kathy Crowder who had 10 fish totaling 23.12 lbs to earn $2690. They caught their fish on wiggle warts and Carolina rigged green pumpkin centipedes. Danny and Sharon finished second only .20 behind with 22.92 lbs they caught fishing deep on jigs on day one and shallow on day two on jigs, Spro frogs and square bill crank baits. They took home $2100 for their efforts.
Third went to Will and Roberta Cranston who used Carolina rigged green pumpkin lizards and drop shot Yamamoto cut tail worms to land 22.74 and earn $1220.
Day one big bass was a 4.63 lbs caught by David and Wendy Heslep earning them $200.
Day two big bass was a 3.60 lbs caught by Danny and Sharon Waldo earning them $280.
