William and Amber Hope used various baits to weigh 4 bass at 9.55 lbs to win their 2nd tournament in a row for Arkansas Couples Tournament. This earned them $950 and the angler of the year points lead. Second was Ken Dillon who used a dark colored beaver to earn $600. He also won the trash fish pot of $85 for a 5.66 mudfish. Third was Nick Ruffin with 9.21 to earn him $500. Big Bass Was a 3.72 monster caught by Kevin and Kerry Short earn them $290. The next Arkansas Couples tournament will be at Lake Dardanelle State Park August 2, 2009 lodging at LaQuinta Inn 479-967-2299.
